Sonny Rollins is pretty much the only bebop legend still among us. Bring him down here.
And, as I've said many, many times before, the roster of fantastic and prescient players from Thirsty Ear's Blue Series are all totally welcome: Matthew Shipp, William Parker, Craig Taborn, Tim Berne, Groundtruther, David S. Ware, etc.
Ditto on the Braxton.
The Mingus Big Band kicks ass. They are so tight, and so alive with the spirit of Mingus.
Pink Martini would be lots of fun, I think.
The Brad Mehldau Trio, Esbjörn Svensson Trio and Michel Camilo Trio would all go over very well with Bonnaroo's jam-friendly crowd.
David Torn put out what was hands down the best jazz album last year. Oh, please book him. Actually, book pretty much anyone from the ECM label and I'd be thrilled.

I know Robert Glasper was there last year, but at the time I had no idea who he was. I'd really love it if he was there again this year so I could check out his set.

It would be awesome if they had a couple of house bands and kept the jazz tent open 24 hours so theres always music playing at Bonnaroo. That Would be Awesome.
Return to Forever (probably too big for a tent though) Medeski, Scofield, Martin, & Wood Garage a Trois Stanton Moore Trio Charles Lloyd Vandermark 5 McCoy Tyner
I am not sure if this is what Superfly was refering to when I spoke to them, but the said that they were working on a new concept on the New Orleans scene this year , but they did the new orleans tent already though. Maybe we will find out in week or so.
