I have never been to Roo before. So I don't really know what to expect or what's up, but I loath Pearl Jam. I went to sleep when I saw them at Lollapalozza in '92. I won't be anywhere near them. In fact, my friend who I am going with is a roo regular and told he me that he doesn't want me near him when they play. Not a problem.
Metallica on the other hand, while I resent what they have become, I am looking forward to seeing them. They were awesome 20 years ago. I wouldn't go see metallica if they weren't playing at roo. I think I will have a lot of fun when they pull out a few old songs from my childhood. One, Master, maybe even Damage Inc. PJ...yeah I need to contribut to Eddie's Ego..... Hate them, always have. The rest of you please enjoy the show. I won't be contributing to the crowd.

I'll be up front for Pearl Jam also, or crowd surfing lol. Been rocking out to live shows of theirs for the last few days. Key live songs: Brain of J, In Hiding, Come Back, Breathe. It's going to be an awesome show, and my 5th. AAAHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh can't wait:)

Not a Pearl Jam fan and won't be seeing them but I have friends who look forward to it immensly to each his own thats the beautiful thing about this magic place and if we all loved every band we'd be in some serious trouble trying to see it all

Then go see Roger Waters solo loser (at Coachela or any county fair) and see how much his backup band sounds like Nick, David, and Richard!
I wonder why I was singled out when I did not bash the band only said I wasn't a fan and also said I had plenty of friends going really excited to see them and that in essence is the best thing about Roo that there is something for all and always a choice. As far as seeing Roger play I would love to but certainly not going to Coachella though I had planned to before the line-up came out and if he comes around the MD area any time in the future I'm there. Tho I would still rather have Gilmour but again I'm a loser.

ya that seemed a bit weird for you to be singled out... there were way more opinionated people in the page before you... but then again his post was at 4:02am EST..... so he may have been drunk? who knows...

i'll see them, but aside from LZ making their surprise appearance, none of the headliners have me rushing for the front of the stage
what about B.B. King the man is freaking legend. Dont get me wrong I'm a muddy waters/ leadbelly man myself but I'll still be there front row... and hammered drunk

I totally agree with the BB comment. I'll be up in front at his set for sure.
