I can't believe there's not a discussion about B.B. yet! I'm listening to B.B. King Live in Cook County Jail and it's blowing me away. B.B.'s one of the acts that I'm most looking forward to in June. You don't get much more legendary than B.B. and Lucille. The man is TRUE music royalty.
It doesn't matter what kind of music you're into... The blues and B.B. will take you there. He's a top 3 in the interviews that I want to score at Roo 08... No doubt.
The line-up is so over the top good....I don't know what these people are talking about....with no additions at all, I won't be able to see everything I want to see....
i have been blessed with the chance to see BB before, and all i can say is oh my god! beofre the show i thought it was going to be boring because i had heard he just sat down the whole time, but i have never seen a human being (if that is in fact what he is) play guitar like that before. He changed my perspective on how guitar can be played, and he expanded my love of blues music. A CANT MISS SHOW!!!

i am SO excited about BB
i saw willie about 3 years ago at a festival they have in my college town, and it was SO much fun! i think his guitar is as old as he is. and he definitely wasn't holding back on the reefer
B.B. King is is definitely at the top of my list of must sees. I love the blues, and I have never seen any true blues live, much less the king of the blues. I am extremely excited.
Humanity has advanced, when it has advanced, not because it has been sober, responsible, and cautious, but because it has been playful, rebellious, and immature.
I grew up listening to BB King because my old man used always play his music. I'm really excited to see him play and I couldn't believe he was on the bill.
I just saw him on an old repeat of The Cosby Show too. Just goes to show ya how popular he still is after all these years.
Yeah Im excited. Never seen him but I love the blues so things should go well. I remember James Blood Ulmer killin it last year and hope BB does the same (is it possible for him not too?...).
b.b. is going to blow everyone away...i saw him on his 80th (can you believe that) birthday tour...there was nothing but respect in the whole place...and to top it off kenny wayne shepherd opened up for him!
Don't forget B.B.'s band. There is a devestating amount of talent in that group. They sound like they have been playing together for thirty or forty years because they have. I'd like to hear B.B.'s other guitar player "cut heads" with some of the youngsters.
I'll almost put money on it that BB will be there in some capacity at the SuperJam. There's a ridiculous amount of talent at Roo this year, and BB's at the top!

Im in favor of BB King in for some part of the superjam. I saw him at the bass hall in Fort worth, and it was one of those once in a lifetime concerts. Dont miss it.
i dont know if anyone has comcast cable with OnDemand, but if you do there is a BB King concert on there. Just scroll down to music, select concert tv, then all programs and it will be in there and it is sick. its from 98' but it will give you an idea of what to expect. just a heads up.
