This post from that thread made me laugh. If it is traffic that is slowing the Bonnaroo site, I really doubt it's a bunch of people who have never been there before that are checking it.
A couple people asked the guy for more info but it doesnt seem to be forthcoming. Does anybody here post on that board as well? Maybe we can find out if he has any reputation to consider.

Good idea in calling them. It's amazing how so many people never think of such a novel idea! (myself included in that group )

It was funny when I asked because he put me on hold for a minute to get an official answer to the question and wanted to know who was my source that they would announce it today. Strange.

At least we have more stations confirming a lineup announcement this Wednesday.
And it's lame that someone just gave legend karma, then someone else took it. So here's a bump from me. You might drive me up the wall sometime with your incessant "Zep will surely be there this year" talk, but you're still a stand up guy.

Hi everyone! 5th year 'Roo vet here with some love for you all. I've been lurking all weekend and finally had to sign up. I live in Knoxville and would be glad to listen to all the stations around here at 3pm for you if you'd like.
Fun Fact about me: Ashley Capps' wife was my German teacher in college.

The answer from WUTK was probably accurate. WUTK is the college station and the people operating the phones, as well as the djs, are usually students. So, it makes sense that a student would give the info out with out really worrying about it.

Welcome to the boards! It seems like we've pretty much ruled the 3 pm rumor "inaccurate" (as Superfly would say ) so I don't think you need to worry about that too much.
Well I'm listening to them anyway since I can't get on bonnaroo.com to listen to radio bonnaroo. So, if by some crazy circumstance they do announce anything, I'll let ya'll know.
The only reason that Im wondering about today is because the roo site is completely down. It says "Service Unavailable" when you go to it. I think I'm gonna camp til 3 n see if anything happens....sleep is for the weak anyways!

If a station in knoxville did have the lineup. My bets would be on wutk www.wutkradio.com/ or West 105.3 www.wkvl.com/ these stations play the most music by Roo artists in Knoxville. WUTK 's Program director Benny Smith actually used to work for AC Entertainment and is probably very good friends with Ashley Capps.
