Thursday: George Carlin, comedy tent (I usually get my comedy fix the first night, before the festivities kick into high gear) Friday: pre-headline: Beastie Boys headline: Radiohead late-nite: Flaming Lips Saturday: pre-headline: David Bowie headliner: Led Zeppelin late-nite: George Clinton SuperJam: Jimmy Page, Les Claypool, maybe "funky drummer" Clyde Stubblefield... hell, Page & Claypool alone would be enough Sunday: pre-headline: Primus headline: Roger Waters (but preferably Floyd intact)
MMmmmm, Cars Trucks and Buses with Les??? Id OD on greatness.
Thursday, the day to loosen everyone up! *Prince, with David Glimour on Guitar (yah prince is pretty good, but David instead!) and Questlove on Drums.

I think this could be the lineup this year:
Thursday - Deftones (maybe a long shot) or Muse, GWAR, Primus, Incubus or 311
Friday - My Morning Jacket>The Raconteurs>Pearl Jam with Neil Young Latenights - Beastie Boys (which stage), Mars Volta, Polyphonic Spree, Avalanches, MSMW (in the jazz tent)
Saturday - Robert Cray Band>BB King>Plant and Krauss>SuperJam feat. any of the following: BB King, Eric Clapton, Robert Plant, Neil Young, Steve Winwood, Ginger Baker, Carlos Santana, Buddy Guy, Taj Mahal, Jeff Beck, Warren Haynes, Trey Anastasio, Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Vince Gill, Jack White, John Mayer, Ben Harper, Eddie Vedder, Stone Gossard, ?uestlove, Robert Randolph, and they should definitely bring Bill Murray for the main comedy act this year. Latenights - Arcade Fire (which stage), Chemical Brothers, Saul Williams, Disco Biscuits/Particle with Robby Krieger, Bustle in Your Hedgerow (in the jazz tent)
Sunday - The Wailers>Jack Johnson>Carlos Santana>Dave Matthews Band with Carlos Santana, Tim Reynolds and/or Trey Anastasio
i'm not even going to start dreaming up headliners of my own, just throw my support behind the aforementioned presence of arcade fire, beasties & dredg at roo '08
mine would involve nine inch nails, radiohead, arcade fire, the cure, david bowie, talking heads, wilco, tool, bt, prodigy, mmj, and dozens of others, in no particular order.
if i got to see all those, i'd leave the scheduling of sets up to the organizers with glee

Oh my god. If that happened I would buy five Bonnaroo tickets. That way, if I lost four of them I could still go see all those amazing shows. It would be a Bonnarop that I would skip my power nap and go see the headliners.

if bonnaroo was led zeppelin the rolling stones and pink floyd i wouldnt go.
those bands are all great to listen to but theyre fucking old, i want to see young acts with new music. one old band is enough for me, as long as its not the stones.

I agree. Seeing them now would still be cool, but no where near as special as when they were still recording in their earlier years.

Where you there this year? They Police are definatly f**king old. Panic and Tool may not be there yet, but they're hardly "young" bands (Panic has been together for 22 years and Tool 15 years or so).

Screw that realistic stuff...
Thursday Headliner: DMB Thursday Late-Night: Sly & The Family Stone (1970) Early Friday: Cream Friday Headliner: Led Zeppelin (3-4 sets) Friday Late-Night: The Dead Early Saturday: (Pink Floyd & Radiohead Superjam) Saturday Headliner: Radiohead Saturday Late-Night: Pink Floyd Early Sunday: Michael Franti & Spearhead Sunday Headliner: Pink Floyd Sunday Late-Night: Radiohead
Those would just be the main acts during the day and I chose Radiohead and Pink Floyd to have a superjam together since they are both known for having completely different sounds within their own music spectrum and I believe that they would be able to mix their sounds together to create pure joy and happiness. Pink Floyd and Radiohead both get two spots because just one spot wouldn't be able to cover enough of their music.
"I want you to notice When I'm not around You're so fücking special I wish I was special But I'm a creep I'm a weirdo What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here" -Radiohead
