Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
There's a company, Big Hassle, that takes care of the publicity end of Bonnaroo. Now if you take a look at bands they represent, it may just floor you how many of those groups played Bonnaroo last year. I would keep an eye on that lineup of acts they represent to see if it there are any new additions. It might clue you in on who will be playing Bonnaroo next year...
Yeah, and VHS or Beta are friends of My Morning Jacket's so I wouldn't be surprised if both bands were on the bill for '08.
Also, I'm not huge on U2, so I would probably pass up their show if they played. I was just throwing big names into Wiki and looking for album releases or tours for '08.
I dont think they would fit in well at Roo, but I'd definitely watch them. But if anybody was gonna cause a ticket price increase, U2 would. Their ticket prices are rediculous.
I'm really hopin for Zeppelin and Daft Punk. I can definitely do without Pearl Jam. Eddie's voice gets to me after about 30 seconds.

"Does Bono want binky!" South Park.
Personally one of the best episodes of the season so far and I would only watch U2 if they played material from the 80's and early 90's. Joshua Tree is a quality album and would love to hear that played in its complete form.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."

I still haven't gotten over the Napster thing. The image of Lars Ulrich carrying around his lil briefcase and toadying up to their record label was burned forever into my brain.
Good Lord....even my hardcore Metallica friends think they suck live now. Metallica's actually one of those bands that I can genuinely call a deal breaker for me. It would be hard for me to justify spending money to go to a festival they're headlining.

as much as i hate the thought of metallica at roo, it just makes sense because they're trying to bring in newer faces, a younger generation of fans, they're trying to please the younger, new kids, i mean i'm only 26, so i'm still young, but bonnaroo is just changing with everything else...and i don't like it

The article says stranger things have happened, but I disagree. I don't think anything so strange has happened at Bonnaroo as Metallica playing. Or so nauseating.
