the new album by Okkervil River is fantastic- kinda like old wilco in a way. also turn the lights out by the Ponys is really good 60ish indie. anytown graffiti by Pela is also a fantastic indie rock album I don't know if you've checked out the Rocco DeLuca album but its really good, kinda radioheadish at times Rachael Yamagata is really good mellow singer-songwriter stuff and if you like The Shins, you should check out Meligrove Band, they have the same kind of poppy sound at times

i'm gonna give you some artists and albums to d/l by them i usually hate greatest hits so i'll stray away from those
the guess who - american woman (jammin classic rock) modest mouse - lonesome crowded west, this is a long drive..., moon and antarctica doors - morrison hotel, LA woman moe. - warts and all vol 5, wormwood, no doy gov't mule - bonnaroo 2007 talking heads - stop making sense
