Jellyfish and Mr. Bungle are by far the bands I would most love to see reunite, but I think I would mainly be interested in getting new (naturally fantastic) records from them, not so much seeing them live.

Original line-up of KISS!
Wouldn't you love to see Gene fly to the Bonnaroo sign at the top of the What Stage?
It's funny, I was going to start a JOKE THREAD about bringing KISS to ROO, only because (based on the collective opinions and sparring in these other recent 'who should' discussion threads) they just seem to me to be the epitomy of all bands that should never appear at roo, ever!!! (ie:most commercial "rock" band ever to exist???)
It was going to read something like...
"KISS at Roo in 2008? You know you want them..."
...to end their headlining Sunday Eve set by holding a funeral, where they bring out the Kiss Coffin and bury our friend Bonnaroo six feet under forever
(btw, regardless of your feelings about this band, this was intended to be a joke thread, and not meant for further discussion )
anyway, I only didn't post this fake thread for fear of it somehow becoming real instead of just funny... I think the way my VH thread played out covered that well enough, no need to take it to the next level

The Velvet Underground!!!!! (Sterling Morrison is dead, but getting Lou Reed and John Cale back together at roo would be a dream come true). Man....or Astroman? Pixies R.E.M. (w/ Bill Berry) Talking Heads Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band (I know Don is very sick, but a guy can dream, can't he?)
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
King Crimson (Pre-Discipline) Yes The Velvet Underground The Stooges (I know they recently reunited, but they need to come to Bonnaroo) Black Sabbath (Ozzy-era) Can (Damo Suzuki-era) Captain Beefheart and The Magic Band Cream Genesis (Gabriel-era) Kansas Led Zeppelin Mahavishnu Orchestra (The First Mahavishnu Orchestra) Pink Floyd Traffic
If like 2-3 of these happened, that would be awesome.
