Bobby fans are people too!!! ;D ;D ^^^ one of my fav. stickers!!
"Make Bobby Shave" is another great sticker!
For me, I'll take any dead-related music I can. I personally prefer Phil over Bobby, but I still catch Rat-Dog every chance I can get. Just like any other Dead concert, Rat-Dog can put on a mind-blowingly intense show, or they can flop miserably. I've also seen that with Phil (and with Jerry). RatDog tends to be more jazzy and tighter than Phil.
You people are freakin nuts!!!!! Okay first of all obviously Phil brings it more and is utterly amazing. He's also got a much bigger following as well. Bobby though, is a straight up rocker IMO. I feel like Phil brings the crazy extended jams with special guests but Bobby plays the rockin not as jammy but song filled sets. I'm not saying one is better than the other, but I personally have always liked Bobby better. Ratdogs shows are insanely rockin and he just pumps your head full of Dead favorites. But once again, that's just my favorite out of the two. Neither one is better than the other.

Hey Guys... I need your help. I have a 15-20 minute interview with Bob Weir (confirmed for Saturday at Roo). I've been doing my research and have SOME questions prepared, but I could use your help.
If you have any interesting questions for me to ask Bob, please put em here or e-mail me at Moe@TheMoeTrain.com...

i always found the connection between the dead and ken casey and the merry pranksters.. I would ask him something about the experience with that character and maybe even the hells angels.. I dunno i read electric kool aide acid test and the stories i heard about the dead and ken casey were insane..
Yeah Taylor... We did a bit of a brainstorming session last night, and we're also trying to come up with "different" questions. Even though it's Bobby, I want to keep the interview to my personality. We decided that the "dry" questions are good for print, but people want to hear fun and interesting stuff when listening to an interview.
Out of all the interviews that I have, I think Bobby's interview is going to be the hardest. I know his music, but not to the extent that I know Ziggy's music, for example. How long did you happen to sit down with Bobby?

half-an-hour.
Call all your deadhead friends and ask them for questions. Throw in two or three RatDog questions at the beginning so he thinks you see him as more than a Dead member. If you have to ask him the universal questions (I did) just ask them in a new way.
The Ratdog questions are def coming first... I want to throw a few fun curveballs in the interview... I'm not a "character" per se, but I need to have things fun like the personality of the podcast.
Thanks for the offer. I'll give you a ring if I can think of anything. See you at Roo.
