So now we have STS9 and Medeski and Martin playing latenights. Still leaves at least one, most likely two spots open, if one of the above is paired with someone ala UM-->DB last year.

Can you imagine these two cats with Ornette Colman and Robert Randolph late night...This would make for a sick Friday late night.....Lets see what the whack-a-doo's over at super fly come up with to wow us now....we deserve a little love to make up for the no Big add ons for quite some time......

I didn't even realize Medeski and Martin just came out with a new cd. I'm gonna have to go scoop that one up. This has just made my Friday even more difficult to plan.....but in a good way. ;D

Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
I belive he is touring with his brother at the moment.
Well it wouldn't have any bearing on not being at Roo, his brother's band is playing their last concert in Atlanta as we speak. Unless them both are just touring together as a duo.

I like them a lot, and have gone to see them a couple of times around here, but I was thinking they were a little too mellow for latenite, maybe I am wrong (I hope)
