Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

Some decent names here, remember that it would me much more exciting for people who didn't already know of most of these through leaks (unlike us). We kinda spoil our own fun by looking for leaks, is all I'm saying. That said, I do sure hope there are more quality musical additions to come.

The comedy stuff has never really been my cup of tea. Like someone posted before, I'm all for a good laugh, but Bonnaroo is about the music. I can catch a lot of these guys on Comedy Central.

Yeah, but they've sorta kept with that every wednesday pace....except last week....I think they waited till Thursday to announce an update.
But on the topic at hand, I would be absolutely psyched to see Demetri Martin and Nick Kroll, but I won't because watching comedy isn't a priority when I'm at Bonnaroo. But I am a huge fan of both these comedians, they're hilarious.

This seems like more comedy artisits than previous years. Leads me to believe they are expanding the comedy area so more can see them w/o waiting in line for 2 hours.
I was wondering if they serve beer in the comedy tent. I've never made it in there so I don't know but what good would a comedy act be without an ice cold brew at hand.

Lewis Black, David Cross, Dave Attell, and now Aziz Ansari???? that's incredible!!! If you havent already check out Aziz's hilarious indie marketing video on youtube, Tapes n Tapes, Devendra and Ted Leo are all in it : )
I always want to get in there, but the waiting in line thing puts me off. Why aren't comedians in a tent like the artists? It seems that atmosphere would be better that way.

All things considered, maybe the bigger name comedians will be on one of the tent stages. That would help account for the disparity between the number of bands this year and last. With that said, doesn't the artist list say something like "In the comedy tent ..."
I was only planning on seeing Lewis Black and Dave Attel anyway....I'm at Bonnaroo for music, however Lewis Black hapens to be my favorite comic and Dave Attel is really good as well.

I'm not too thrilled with any of the comedians that were announced today. David Cross and Lewis Black are the only ones that I consider "must see"s. I guess that's a good thing though. More time for more music.
demitri martin is incredible. i can't wait to see him. beyond that, should be interesting. i don't think i would go see any of the others over a decent music act however, with the possible exception of finnesse mitchell
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
Yeah, I'm thinking about stopping in the comedy tent Thursday as well. And hopefully Dave Attell will be scheduled during an appropriate time for me to catch him. I feel a wierd obligation to go see him. His show has gotten me through many a nights where I stumbled home too drunk to put my head down and needed something to stare at. His comedy acts are pretty hilarious too. He's just so brutally honest it's funny.

Yeah for us OCD people on Inforoo here, these announcements are not too exciting. But if you are a regular Joe, and you bought a ticket with just the initial lineup, these additions are cool for them. We all have are sights on big names here, and you know there is nothing wrong with that. Hope is a good thing, as long as we get either Mars Volta or one other big name.

I somehow finagled (sp?) front row seats to his show at the Tabernacle. I am super happy about that. I am about to watch Lynne koplitz on a Late Late show that I have recorded to see if she is any good.
Whatever happened to Patton Oswalt. I thought that he said he was going to be at the Roo again this year. It sucks that I missed him last year.
