Robert Randolf. He will be there in some form, but his band won't be present. Some say he will just make a sit-in with some group, but I think he'll be a part of the Superjam. Unless they go with last year's format of actual bands/ collaborations that are touring.

Superjam has traditionally been sunday afternoon, at least until last year. I think the move to Sat. night was to accomidate Trey for the superjam, since he was playing somewhere else on Sun night. I for one hope the Superjam is returned to the Sun afternoon slot. There's already so much going on during latenights that adding a superjam then seemed like overkill.

I really just hope its a true superjam this year, and they just have a KWI show seperate. Theres a ton of people who could pop up in the superjam this year.
i hope kwi is announced and on friday. but if it is the superjam im sure they will have many more guests then grab did. i mean if you look at the roo lineup and the artists that sci would want to play with on their last tour its just insane to think about what could be in store for us at roo. i hope its announced. but if its a super jam i think it will be a superjam.

I'm going to go ahead and pray for one thing. I had heard some rumors briefly about it before Roo last year and it threw my mind into a tailspin. I'm sure everyone and their friends have had this conversation come up. "If you could see 1 artists, dead or alive, who would it be?" My answer is always very quick to come out as its never changed. Jimi Hendrix. Another question I'm quick to answer is whats the best Hendrix release? Easy, Jimi & The Band Of Gypsies. Now let me dream for a moment.
Drums- Questlove Bass- Leonard Hubbard "Hub" Guitar 1- Tom Morello Guitar 2- Warren Haynes/Jack White Vocals- Ben Harper/Black Thought Performing Henrdixs Band Of Gypsies.
I know its a longshot, but my hope has been renewed to a degree because of a recording I recently found. It's of The Roots performing Masters Of War at that Dyland tribute. I know most of the group loves that Hendrix album, and they begin to blast out Machine Gun at the end of the song. Just some thoughts and dreams. Thats what Bonnaroo's all about. Like many others, this year I want something thats Bonnaroo exclusive for Superjam.

I dont know why everyone has Questlove on drums when Stewart Copeland, Danny Carey, Jay Lane, Stanton Moore, Jeff Sipe, and Zack Velmer are all better fits in my opinion.

I guess its just a matter of personal taste. I've seen all the afformentioned drummers, and can say without a doubt that Quest could blow them off the stage. By no means am I saying the rest of the group can't, but some of the syncopation and weird signatures that Quest uses are insane. Its a real shame that he never gets a chance to shine on their studio work, and really only gets a broken 10 mins a set to show his stuff.
At the end of the day, any of those guys. We're really comparing gold against more gold.

The fact that ?uestlove has was in the superjam in 05, and that he is hinting at a return this year also makes him a big contender. Other drummers might be really good, but the ? is are they willing to/interested in jamming with other musicians.
