I also recieved an email from Trey's people telling me that he had no plans to play the roo this year. so it would seem like no Les, no Trey, AND no MMW

^I'm also unsure of Page playing there, too. I'm losing hope for really good additions. Ornette Coleman is sick, but I don't see any other ones as good or better than that.

Im still holding out for Page. I think there is a really good chance that he would be there. Its so convenient that his tour ends right as bonnaroo begins. Also they wouldnt have to give him a large spot or anything I wouldnt think. I just hope he is there.

I'm very sad too. However, I think it just didn't work out this year. If he plays Bonnaroo on Thursday, that would be five shows back to back for him. I think Les wants to put on a great performance for any gig he plays, playing all those shows one after another might hinder him from doing so. Les appreciates Bonnaroo, in any interview he does about it he says how much he enjoys it (I.E. Bonnaroo 2002 DVD). I'm sure his schedule was too tight to make it this year. But I have a feeling he'll be back next year!

I'm pretty sure that Robert Randolph will be added. There's been various reports from people on here who went to a concert of his where he's say See you at Bonnaroo, and I even talked to a band that I saw at my local underground music venue who said they opened for Robert Randolph and he told them how he was playing at Bonnaroo. I would expect an add.

Yea, I'm confident that he will be there, but probably only as a guest. His booking agent has basically confirmed that there will not be a RRFB set this year, but Robert is likely in other capacities.

i'd rather have some new blood anyways!
come on! we can see those bands all the time during the year. How about some additions that you dont normally see?!?
I rather have old blood if its a better show. I dont want to see someone just for their novelty factor, i rather see the better show. Bonnaroo is seriously lacking guarenteed sweet shows, like Les and RRFB and MMW. There arent many of those bands, so your forced to repeat. Also, no Umphrey's this year and no Bisco. These guys get to play every year because they're that good, and i think its just silly to not include them.

It does seem pretty bad. I think Superfly has a big suprise planned, or they have screwed up (Except for Coleman, How sick is that!?). I have a good feeling that RR will be a Superjam act, though. I think they will bring back the old Superjam format, but do it on a late-night time with RR as the guitar player. He has been there EVERY year and I think he realizes the importance of a festival as great as 'Roo and would feel weird about missing it.
