Well I believe that a Thursday night set would be in the cards. A recent collaboration of another artist who will be playing roo is Tom Morello "Night Watchman". They got together last month in Austin for the SXSW. Here is a little show review from Jambands.com.( Claypool performed with Rage Against the Machine/Audioslave guitarist Tom Morello at Austin’s the Parish. Though billed as a solo gig under his Nightwatchman alias, Morello used his showcase to host a jam-session of sorts, featuring appearances from such marquee names as Slash, the MC5’s Wayne Kramer, and Extreme’s Nuno Bettencourt. Perry Farrell also led Morello, Slash, and Bettencourt through versions of Jane’s Addiction’s “Mountain Song” and “Ain’t No Right.” At the end of the night Claypool emerged, jamming with Morello on a set-closing cover of Woody Guthrie's "This Land is Your Land.” )
Now that could definitely happen at roo also........
wow...i was beginning to lose hope. great find, and karma for making my day a little better

He will be there somehow, someway. He must because I have not had to chance yet to see him play yet. With all of our luck he will play for the special VIP show they have (I have only heard of this, if someone wants to confirm of a VIP show please do).

I'm going to see him on the 13th in Atlanta, sleep a few hours, then load up the car and head for Manchester. I still hope he shows-up at Roo but, if not, i'm covered. Sorry, guys.

I was going to be seeing Les at The Vic here but I guess he decided to cancel it, don't know why. Also I believe he has cancelled his late-night show at Summercamp .( a reason I was considering going again) Looks like no Claypool for me this year Unless he does a Fall tour..............................

The fact that he has the 14th open, and how he is so close to Roo, I just don't see how he couldn't at least make an appearance.
All the people going to the Atlanta show right before bonnaroo should make signs or something. Or just yell "You gonna be at bonnaroo?" Loud enough for him to hear. Haha.
^at the variety playhouse its fairly easy to come in contact with the artist so i could defintiely give it a shot after the show. i met half of p groove before their show in march and brock gave my friend a free ticket to the sodl out show that night. it would be a trip to meet les though
I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!

MY friend met him outside the Tabernacle last time Primus was here.
the only problem is that i believe that he is going to florida after atlanta. (which sucks as i'm missing him here b/c of roo). i really hope i'm wrong, but i don't see him going from atlanta, to tennessee, then back to florida for the 15th. but then again maybe he's messing with us all....
