I wouldnt want to see the Stripes close out bonnaroo, just because thats not bonnaroo. No need to worry though. And as for widespread, while i wasnt much of a fan before, i hear jimmy herring has really rejuvinated them, and im actually excited for their set this time around.
I get Rolling Stone, cause it's so damn cheap and it's a fun read. But since they've had Panic At the Disco and Fall Out Boy on the cover the last 2 out of 3 issues, I've decided not to renew. I mean, what about all the good new albums that have come out recently. Why not The Shins or Arcade Fire on the cover? Oh, that's right, Rolling Stone has to pander to their junior high, radio listening, black eye shadow wearing and fashionably depressed base. Yeah.

They also had the best guitarist issue^, which was pretty cool, and actually fairly accurate. I think Bayliss and Cinninger should've been on there, but other then that i agreed with it.
I wanted to read that but I didn't get a chance. I like them all, but I thought DT was the only one of the three who I would name as a god, and that's only because he is Duane Allman reincarnated.
I get Rolling Stone for everything that's not music. A lot of their political and social reporting is really solid. That being said, (and me studying Journalism) I get about 14 magazines a month, and RS is one of the last things in the stack I read.
