Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Rumors strongly suggest the following acts will appear at the festival:
The Police, Tool, Queens of the Stone Age, The Chemical Brothers, Manu Chao, Explosions in the Sky, James Blunt, Korn, The Crystal Method, Drive By Truckers, and many more. From wikipedia if TRue i will never go to another bonnaroo again [edit]

anyone can add whoever they want on wikipedia, its an online encyclopedia that anyone can edit, and korn will never play bonnaroo, i didn't realize people still listened to korn, for the few years i listened to them which was like 10 years ago, i got real tired of jonathan davis crying and everything real quick, he should of killed himself long ago
Humanity has advanced, when it has advanced, not because it has been sober, responsible, and cautious, but because it has been playful, rebellious, and immature.
I'll take that list.....minus Korn and James Blunt. I would go see James Blunt just to hear him play "You're Beautiful". And I would proceed to throw not so blunt objects at him.

out of those mtv nu metal bands or whatever theyre called i think i would want the deftones at bonnaroo, i think if bonnaroo went completely mainstream they shoud play, come white pony, especially if tool was there, however, i want bonnaroo to go back to its roots with panic or cheese, the dead, the great lineups theyve had, not last years

i think its no longer a matter of opinion that korn suck, i think its a fact. their bassist can't play bass! jonathan david plays bass on most of their sutdio albums for him cuz he can't do what jonathan wants him to

yeah, honestly it's not bad minus those two. I've wanted QOTSA at bonnaroo for a while now. The Chemical Bros & The Crystal Method would make for a perfect late nite slot (Sasha 06) I saw The Crystal Method a couple of years back in Minneapolis, their show is pretty damn good, the bass makes you feel like your lungs are gonna collapse.

bands like korn & tool have no right being @ bonnarooooooo
I will agree completely that bands like these two don't blend with Bonnaroo, and I was quite surprised to hear early rumors of Tool playing. I would love to see Tool, but not at 'roo. Same with Korn - I went to Family Values last year for the sole purpose of seeing the Deftones and stuck around to watch Korn just because. Korn actually puts on a good show live, but I would not watch their show at 'roo.

I dont think you can really put tool and korn in the same category, tool would fit much better at bonnaroo. I dont think theres really anyone out that thinks korn should play, but a lot that would like to see tool, myself included.

If Tool ended up playing 'roo you can bet the farm that I'll be there - well not the 'roo farm just in case something wildly crazy happens. we could never risk that.
hehe... i think i was just smited for either insulting korn or james blunt (or perhaps scott stapp)... that's kinda funny ;D
edit: is smoot actually the past tense of smite? i doubt it but that would be cool!
don't feel bad. i think someone might have "smote" me when i said i loathed coldplay.
here - i just gave you some karma back. now if you give me some back we will have successfully defeated the haters! ;D
haha cool, i just exalted someone, but as soon as i get my exalting power back you'll be good and i'll just keep my mouth shut about coldplay to be safe (I feel the same.... shhhhh!)

i was thinking the same thing, i thought tool would be pretty cool for a late night show....

Well mad karma for loathing Coldplay from me. Parachutes was a beautiful record. Everything since is an attempt to bottle that sound for $$$$. There's nothing fresh or progressive about that.
And as for Korn?... It's absolutely laughable that they even have a thread. I honestly expected it to be a joke. A good joke.

I originally thought tool could only headline, but i think if the headliners are big enough, they could have tool playing a latenight spot, which i would definatly prefer, and that way people would have something else they could see if tool wasnt their cup of tea. I think it all depends on how big bonnaroo goes this year, if they can have someone as big as tool not headlining. If either prince, the police, or gilmour/waters headlined, we could see tool in a latenight slot. Tool after gilmour/waters would just be absolutly awesome.
