Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Well we already have confirmation for Tom Petty and Old 97's, so we won't call them predictions. This may come off as more of a wishlist, but I think it's VERY possible....
-The White Stripes -The Flaming Lips -Ryan Adams
All three of them have albums scheduled to come out either right before, or right after Bonnaroo. To miss an opportunity for big a$$ exposure like that at Roo, would be foolish. Also, I noticed an odd little scheduling glitch on the most recent Kings of Leon email update. They have all their dates opening for U2 set in stone, with an appearance or two in between without U2. All appearances without U2 are marked -- except at Roo. Maybe it's just an oversight, but I raised an eyebrow after realizing the mistake.
I had no idea Tom Petty was confirmed for Bonnaroo. Where did y'all hear this? I am already anticipating major scheduling conflicts; ones worse than last year.
Well I meant "confirmation" from a couple magazine articles that have been posted over on Krewe and I believe here...somewhere...hmmm. So yeah, no "official" confirmation, but I think they've done a pretty good job of making us bastards have to wait it out for another major announcement.
Arcade Fire- no summer dates and one of the "hottest" indie bands in the now
Interpol- They will be in Atlanta on the 10th. also a "hot" indie band
The Arcade Fire are one of the most amazing live acts I've ever seen, but unfortunately I can't imagine them popping up at Roo. As for Interpol, I just don't see why they'd bother with a bunch of "dirty hippies."

I was supposed to have seen Arcade Fire in Asheville but my friend didn't order enough tickets. and forgot to tell me that he didn't get one for myself. I hope they pop up but who knows....and who knows you might be right bout interpol lol
Wilco are discussing more "outdoor shows" to be scheduled in June in their most recent email.
They're actually playing four shows straight at the Vic here in Chicago, where they'll be filming a live DVD in early May. I'm not sure if I'll be able to attend as funds are rather tight and the presale is tomorrow!
This may sound out of left field but I think Nickel Creek may be making a return to 'Roo. They've got a new album coming out and no tourdates posted for June.

That would be great. I loved their set in 03. I'm bias though I own all their stuff and have a couple of shows. Not the one from Roo though. Hint..
I saw them at the Grassroots fest in Trumansburg, Ny back in 2001. Got to meet them after their set too. They're really tiny but they're so nice. My buddy tried hitting on Sara the violin player. She signed his CD with a message to seek God. They also did an amazing cover of "Subteranean Homesick Blues".
Sorry, Drugs, don't have the 03 show. Would send it to ya if I did.
Oh and to add to the White sTripes Speculation they are playing at The Music Midtown Festival on June 10th. Then their next date is in England on the 24th. It doesn't take 14 days to fly to England does it (don't know never been)?

They have added dates on the 11th of June and 14th of june in California....still a little bit of hope for them being there on the 12th...but seem unlikely at best...so sad...
There's a dude on another message board who had went to some music conference and Steven Drozd was there discussing how the recording process for the new album is dragging a$$. He seemed hesitant to even say if it would be released before the end of the year. In turn, he seemed to think most touring would be delayed until the fall at the earliest.

I doubt the Shins because of the CMJ music fest up in Cleveland. Sub Pop should have some mark at that scene. Wish it was a differant weekend, what were they thinking, Im more of a indie rocker anyway, but can't miss the roo!.
White Stripes are playing in atlanta on the 10th but I suspect that they will not want to play the roo.
