I just picked up some Sanuks because of this thread. i couldn't be any more excited about them. They make it feel like it's 72 degrees in your head, all the time.
Broke down and bought me a pair of crocs specifically for Roo. I tried them on yesterday and kept them on for the rest of the day. My god these things are comfy. I'm thinking about getting another pair now.

I've always had trouble with shoes at Roo. The first year, I made the mistake of wearing cheap flip-flops, and they tore up the skin between my big toe and second toe.
I can wear tennis shoes with relatively few problems, but they make my feet hot, so I'd rather not.
I've gone the Crocs route, too, and they gave me crazy blisters. (My bf has worn them a couple of years with no problems, though).
Those Sanuks look good, but are a little out of my price range, though.

As did I! I got the mary jane style. I still think they are flippin ugly but they are comfy. Been breaking them in so when Roo rolls around I won't get (as many) blisters. I'm thinking I'll bring sneakers too, just in case the crocs do rub too much.

Dude, I seriously can't concentrate on anything but bonnaroo right now. . .It's to the point where I'm poking myself in the eye with foreign objects. . . I think I just need to be sedated until Tuesday. . . . Dystopian Dream
Wow...I've never even seen that style! They look badass!! I might have to get me some...
Yeah I'm pretty sure its a brand new style, they were like 15 bucks more than the other sidewalk surfers. Had to search a few different stores to find a pair in camo. I should get them this week, i'll let you know if they're comfortable or not, but they look like the bomb. Thanks again for steering me toward the sanuks carpe!

Anyone know a good brand of lightweight rubber boots? Looking at the "muck" brand right now. Need to very light as I'm backpacking in so the standard ones are to heavy to be lugging in. Have a feeling there is going to be alot mud this year want to be prepared for that. Wasn't prepared in 2004 and it sucked.

Last weekend I picked up my first pair of Crocs. Pretty comfy but kind of ugly. I did get RealTree Camo though so they look kind of manly. Those Sanuks look pretty nice too. Might have to try them sometime.
i really want a pair of sanuks but iw ant to try em on first. my feet are wide and i blister easily. i wonder where they sell em in the city. ..
If you go on www.sanuk.com and pick a pair, it has an option for buying retail which lets you search for stores. The only store that came up in NYC when I looked was a place called Tip Top Shoes.
