(which is to say it's all hearsay because I don't watch golf because it's boring and football is cooler)
I don't watch golf either, but I do see that Tiger has won one major since 2009 and only has three wins total in the last decade. You could make an argument that his career as a whole takes a step down due to a severe case of falling off.

I bet there are more people in this thread who have watched Tiger limp his way through a late career tournament than have watched Phelps swim at the Worlds or any other non-Olympics meet.
Isn't there a sizable Ronaldo truther population who claim he's the GOAT over Messi? I don't care a whole lot about soccer but do have respect for them as athletes and the sport itself being truly global.
Alis career isn't really that much more impressive compared to other boxers. definitely the most famous and probably the coolest. boxing metrics are hard to compare w eras and weight classes but there are other impressive boxing resumes.
Gretsky by all rights should win the whole damn thing
he's closer to the cricket or squash dudes we already killed actually
That’s wrong. and he brought hockey to a new level in America just as Pele had done for soccer a decade or decade and a half before (not looking up dates im too fd up for that shit) I still love you though.
