I would start with Psychic all the way through. Very great album. They're a different beast live. Nicolas Jaar is an electronic musician that's one of the best around right now and Dave Harrington is a guitarist and multi instrumentalist. It's their combined love child and made quite the splash in 2013 with Psychic and 2014 fest performances. Then they went on a long hiatus and just released a followup in 2021 and have been touring again. They jam live

I know you're mostly joking about this, but I need to keep myself from crossing fingers. Don't forget that the Pilot Light and Big Ears weren't playing together this year, and I have not heard anything to the contrary for this year. PL isn't on the venue list.
As a reminder, if they do their side festival again in 2025, do yourself a favor and check out what the Pilot Light books. Two of my favorite sets from this year (Spike Hellis and Generation of Vipers) were at the Pilot Light.
P.S. With the weight loss, it's time you try the KMA to PL walk again. Haha.

Oh absolutely. I’m still bitter Irreversible Entanglements moved their show to PL from Mill and Mine for more intimacy. I get it and I made it in but holy shit the line to get in there.
My body will be ready by then for that walk. I’m assuming it’s gonna be the Civic Auditorium to The Point I’m complaining about.
I never made it there last year because I always thought the walk was too far.
Fun Fact: I haven’t been either for that very reason.
I walked over there from the KMA for Kronos, got there way earlier than I expected, decided I really wanted to see Hanif Abdurraqib instead, and walked back to the KMA.

Having both Beth Gibbons and DARKSIDE added on top of the names already announced is like when the Warriors added Kevin Durant after having just won the title... absolutely insane level of talent here
It would be great if Godspeed did a makeup show here since their Knoxville show got canceled. Certainly not expecting it, but tour dates seem to work and I'd really like to seem them.

I am not ready to speak about this show being cancelled. Btw, it did confirm that this Alan Sparhawk solo show is not for me though.

Yeah was super bummed. I'm in the Asheville area and the only time I have ever got a chance to see them was Mountain Oasis back in the day. Would be amazing to run Godspeed and Darkside back from that festival.

Huh, 2022 was a rough year for me so that one makes sense. Not sure where I was in 2019 though.
Edit: May have actually been at that 2019 show and just don't have super clear memories of it. Definitely remember seeing them at the arena though. Sitting up in the balcony of the arena just amazed.
