I must admit, when I saw the tour dates with Darkside, I was really hoping for them but these additions today are so good and out of left field, especially Beth of course, that I don't mind anymore. This is shaping up to be a magical year. Just to confirm or kinda recorfirm I guess, those special programming things like greenwood and Philip glass won't include the namesakes, correct? Is Greenwood still out ? Johnny not Lee.

I googled this myself and yeah Philip doesn't perform with the ensemble unless absolutely specified and based on Big Ears' own website Jonny Greenwood is not listed as a performer for the 133 Years of Reverb piece.

OK, while I've got you here, what about Lee (Greenwood)? What's the over/under on him showing up in your opinion?
ps. Looking like its gonna be cheaper to fly the Frontier way from DEN->TYS than to fly SWA from DEN->BNA and rent a car. Even including a checked bag and a -=carry on=- (a fuckin backpack).
pps. Ugh why does TYS have such shitty airline coverage.
ppps. Why is Knoxville so expensive to get to if you aren't in reasonable driving distance? Shit sucks.

Lovano just announced dates around the fest, looks like he'll be with us on Saturday. Cincy on the Wednesday which I'll probably try to hit to clear conflicts.

Brad Mehldau and Christian McBride are playing some US dates in April and inexplicably will be coming to Indianapolis along with California and Houston Mehldau is out of the country during Big Ears but will be a nice make-up since I wasn't able to see him last year

Do we think there's still more adds incoming? I'd really been getting my hopes up about DARKSIDE but thinking it'd make sense for that to be held back until Coachella drops if they're playing that one too

I personally think it’s still happening and it’s one of the separate ticketed events. Coachella makes a lot of sense as to part of the reason as are making sure the dates on the tour sell out before it’s announced.
They still have “More Artists to be announced” but past cancellations and gap fillers, the lineup seems pretty full as it stands.

Dammit! I just realized that we are going to be in Europe when this in on this year. So I've got 2 GA earlybird weekend passes that I can't use. Would anybody like them at cost?
