So this year part of the bit was pairing Miami artists with national acts.

Check out Lake Hills, Priori, and Chloe Robinson. Lake Hills is like a more ravey Overmono. Priori is one of the best producers at the moment, he’s similar to Roza Terenzi, very spacey / trancey leftfield electronic. And Chloe Robinson is like Four Tet with more breaks.
Thee Sacred Souls have been an act I’ve actually been trying to see for a bit now. They’re signed to Daptone Records and completely fit in there with that breezy 60’s southern soul sound. More James Carr and less Motown if that makes sense.
On cue, they announced a new album and the new single is gorgeous. III Points isn’t the exact festival I was expecting to see them pop up but kudos for that.

Great recs, so pumped for this.
Also, space will be back open following renovations! I’m excited to see who plays there as well during that weekend
Seriously tho congrats to the people being III Points this year you have outdone yourselves and booked just a perfect festival that fits so well with the venue and times. I’m truly hoping I can go. Health issues have kept me away from fests and live music in general but this may be my mighty return if it all comes together.
I am seeing them this weekend in Stockholm, Sweden 🇸🇪. I will come back with a report of their show.
How was it?
Sorry for the delay. I am currently in the UK rn at a camping fest where the internet is spoty.
Anyways, Massive Attack was better live than anticipated. The videos on YouTube don't do them justice at all. Their visuals were great (very political) and the band sounded tight. Elizabeth Fraser, Andy Horace, Young Fathers and Deborah Miller made appearances throughout the show. They played close to two hours by looking at the setlist. We left after an hour and half, because we were a tad cold and rainy (50 degrees) and wanted to return the place we rented out at a decent time. We missed Karmacoma and Teardrop, but I was more than happy with what I saw that evening.
I was mostly up front most of the fest, but we fell back, due to some giants surrounding us. It was for the best, so we could take in the visuals. Considering how ofteb Massive plays the U.S., they should be a priority if anyone is attending the fest this year.

Speaking of airbnbs that are a short walk away, does anyone here have experience with Krymwood flats?
Nice! I haven’t stayed there but it was on my shortlist when looking at places. We’re back up a few blocks towards the shopping but that place looks awesome.

Hoping it’s worth the money and you go for it.
I went for it! It was one of the few places that was in walking distance, not too expensive, and not already sold out.
A couple reviews had me worried but they seemed somewhat unreasonable. All me and the Mrs really need is a clean comfy bed, we’re planning on staying out a lot.

Hopefully that was case specific and not the norm. Either way, I’m glad you did. I want reviews.
I found another place near there that was a house with a rooftop pool for 9 people but crazy expensive for just a few. Next time I plan better 😂
