Saints fired HC Dennis Allen. If only they had that 2017 draft class.
We still got Lattimore and Kamara. Also Ramczyk but he's on IR. Ceiling caved in on the year with the injuries. We actually looked okay yesterday on offense with Taysom Hill back. But too many people are out or on IR. We played our 4th starting center yesterday after #3 went down with an injury. Olave went to the hospital as noted above. Kendre Miller is back on IR, and he's our change up back. Jamaal Williams was out who is the other change of pace back.
Some years are just shit, but the way we started the season, we showed a lot of promise. As we lost our best two Oline guys, it became a disaster. I actually liked Coach Allen, but someone's got to be responsible, and this time it was him.
Not so easy to maintain success without a HOF coach and QB is it?
No. It wasn't even that easy to maintain success with them. Shit happens. We should have been better this season and started off great. Now it's an abyss.
That's alright. We are in that kind of position every year. They just move out dead cap space. I'm sure if Loomis wanted, he could get us out of cap hell in 2-3 years. I'm hearing Zack Baun is playing good for y'all. He didn't really play all that much for us the first couple years he was here. He played SAM and edge rusher in 2023 and did okay. But he wasn't ready to play ILB which apparently he's now learned how to do.

And no quality coach is going to take over a team stuck in 3 years of salary cap clearing hell with no long term answer at QB.

Cooper isn’t a household name but I like this extension for Denver.
I’m bummed Baron Browning didn’t work out but Cooper has been better and Browning was always injured. Glad we got something for him now instead of nothing in 4 months.
Apologies for saying this, but Maxx Crosby deserves to play for an organization that will not be a waste of his talents. Mark Davis is never going to get it together.
haha. Him and Kamara are/were my favorite Saints. Taysom when healthy is up there too and Cam Jordan. I hate losing Lattimore, a member of our incredible [tm] 2017 draft class. That leaves us with only Ram who of course is on IR. I'll miss Marshon's battles with Mike Evans. Those mfers hate each other, and Lat generally had his way every time he matched up against him except in that playoff game against the Tom Brady Bucs. He's a bigtime shutdown CB. And he's got a fucking attitude.

Edit and correction: Kamara who I forgot about in that post is still on the team. Meanwhile 2024 sack leader Hendrickson should have been paid but he got paid anyway by the Bengals.
Lattimore Ramczyk Marcus Williams (twister) Kamara Hendrickson Alex Anzalone Al-Quadin Muhammad <- out of the league
This ended up being an exciting game. Even lining up for the 2 to see what they had. I’m probably going for the 1 vs Ravens D and take my chances in OT.

The refs denied everyone one more drive. A clear facemask and a holding call. Burrow even admitted he wasnt expecting to get the call cause he hardly ever does. If that was Mahomes on the other hand he would be on his knees at the refs about it and they would get the flag even if it wasnt legit.
