The addition of the Silent Disco at the Who really enhances an otherwise weakish late night for me this year. The nature of Silent Disco's makes them amazing friend bonding experiences, great opportunities to dance with strangers, and a nice break from packed stages and loud speakers.
They rarely ever have DJ’s I want to go see at the Bonnaroo one. I tried to go see Shlump running shit back in 2019 and the line was prohibitive. But I guess late night shouldn’t be terrible.

yeah it's definitely not about catching an act you really like in there. A lot of times it's no name djs but it's still fun
Been away a bit - not sure how much attendance numbers have been talked about.
I have a friend who runs Nashville's biggest alcohol distributor and they also supply Bonnaroo each year. I reached out yesterday to see if his crew were told of attendance numbers. They send over many trucks full of booze. Bonnaroo only pays for what is used and sends back anything unused.
He just got back to me and said they were told that Bonnaroo would sell out. So they maxxed out their delivery trucks.

Yuck. This is going to be a hot clusterfuck. Bring back 2022.

Damn. I got a phone call and the 2 paragraphs got wiped. Anyway I spent a bunch of time last week watching recent live stuff and videos and wanted to like them more than I did. I enjoyed some of the music and some of the antics but overall it was mild. I’d be there if I was in Centeroo. I’d probably see Cage again otherwise but that’s it. Other people have different tastes and may be excited for Red Hots, Melanie, Knock2, Allison’s side project or Cigarettes but I’m having difficulty with that block of time. I don’t even like Diplo all that much, but maybe he’s an okay warmup. I didn’t like Idles last year so it’s one of those random festival nights that holds almost no appeal for me during the evening. PL will be great and I’m holding out hope for Parcels in person. But otherwise it’s not curated for me.
I’m really looking forward to Cigarettes After Sex but between them and Parcels I have nothing. And I’m also not really that into seeing Diplo. I’m going to likely see Cage as they’re always fun but I’ve seen them so many times I’d love for something else to see between 730 and 930. Had the superjam been of any interest to me this year that certainly would have helped.

Yeah. I have no interest in seeing that either, but it would have at least taken up a time slot.

this is a weirdly specific way to say "I don't like the chili peppers"

Between the hours of 10:45 and 12:15 on Saturday, there is NO ONE playing who I want to see.
But honestly if you don't like the headliner, go camp at Parcels and you can be like front row. It feels great to be in the front late night.

I'm assuming Whyte Fang isn't your vibe as an alternative for Cage?
Also, I'm planning on seeing RHCP after Cigarettes but somewhat in the back of the field. I've seen them many times. Might even to back to camp for a bit during since that will be a long night. I don't know what I'll do between Idles and PL tho. Seven Lions in WITW maybe but that might depends who I'm hanging with. I don't wanna party by myself for PL Sunrise, so I'm gonna be looking for everyone who's there. Maybe I'll need those 90mins just find someone I know.
Getting in through the tollbooth was pretty quick but big back up right after the tollbooth, it seemed the left side and any “big groups that were waiting” were getting in much quicker than everyone else. Not a lot of organization yet FYI

Not only is it going to be the hottest Roo in a while but the projected very packed Chappell set is during the hottest hour of the day on the hottest day
