It's true, especially if your partner doesn't like big hot dirty music festivals. Do anything it takes to get them to attend with you, the magic of Bonnaroo will heal the wounds of when she went to California and cheated on you and then told you about it. Also take her to phish's "final" concert at Coventry even though she doesn't like Phish that much.

If you could give one piece of terrible advice to a roo newbie what would it be?
Lock your keys in your car, forget where your tent is, have your tent blown over and sleep on wet stuff all weekend, camp in pod 1 that walk isn’t bad at all, camp in tent only that walk hauling all of your gear isn’t hard at all, bring an air mattress that goes flat and stays flat, forget your ez up canopy, rent an rv that has nothing working.
All of these things happened to us in our Bonnaroo years.
Forget your pillows and sleep on a wadded up towel.
When there’s a really big conflict, just get too intoxicated and see none of them.
Go back to your tent after Stevie Wonder, planning to come back for Jay-Z, Clutch and GWAR and then just don’t go back. Skip multiple late nights because your wife can’t do late nights.

Just look at all those hippies walking into the port-o-johns barefoot. You can literally eat off those floors, so why would you choose to wear shoes when you clearly don't have to?

yes you’re close! they let the full song play so it takes up a bit of time in the episode but honestly it’s a good song, made me dig into his music more

I said this in an earlier post but I saw him at a festival a few weeks ago and while his performance was good he had a really shitty attitude and radiated negativity. Grouplove all the way

I'm way less confident in this call as I had a far more legit source for the return but the steam powered airplane house edit Billy posted on his story a few days ago is getting swirled with the PL guys at some point this year.
My guess would be Roo since there is no official super jam. First ever Thursday headliner on the main stage. Billy is off until 6/20 and close by. Their set up also makes it super easy for anyone to sit in with them.

I don't think they had a lot of sit-ins on the Swirl Bridge tour. We got Soul Rebels and Brandon Butler sit-in on the last night of the tour (12/3/23), but he knows them, and I think Butler used to be in his live band. He was, however, at Billy Strings NYE show at UNO arena kind of behind me cum and Tranter, but I don't think we saw him there that night. So for sure there is admiration if nothing else.
