i think morgan wallen absolutely, without a doubt, handpicked all these artists. carefully and painstakingly curated. they absolutely didn't just take the partial hangout lineup they'd already booked and threw morgan wallen and some other country at the top.

yeah i wouldn't be shocked if they had a handful of these artists booked then got morgan to headline and decided to pivot

anyways, all things considered i don't hate it? maybe i'm just too easy to please

The Morgan Wallen song "Sand in my Boots" that this fest is named after was inspired by a time that Morgan was dancing to "Seasons (Waiting on You)" and was moving so much he kicked up some sand into his boots
