1. Wednesday 2. Waxahatchee 3. Indigo 4. MJ Lenderman 5. ISS 6. Feeble Little Horse 7. Pillow Queens 8. Fust 9. Hovvdy 10. My Sister Maura
v pleased to see so many returning undercard acts bc I wasn’t able to see everything I wanted last year ❤️
If you don't know GBV, start with the albums Alien Lanes and Isolation Drills. There are over a hundred releases under various band/artist names, and these are two of his three best albums, according to Bob Pollard himself. (If you think that sorting out Wednesday from MJ Lenderman and the Wind is a task, get ready for Guided By Voices * Robert Pollard * Boston Spaceships * Airport 5 * Ricked Wicky * Cub Scout Bowling Pins * Circus Devils and many more)

Excited for the main shows again this year. Think they did a pretty good job. Not familiar with any of the clubs shows but two or three of them but digging Lily Seabird and Pillow Queens the most so far.
Hell yes, Pat and the Pissers! This is solid, now should I go to this or Furnace Fest? Decisions, decisions...
I can vouch for this one. Cheap ticket, decently cheap hotel within walking distance (if you get in early enough) and great food all weekend.
Teddy Flair how do you feel about Furnace this year?
I'm going Friday but not the whole thing unless I get another free wristband lol, but I doubt rhino can turn down a free place to stay and the final North American Misery Signals show (2 sets)!

It's true.
Hopscotch has a bunch of acts I like, but Furnace has 30+ I like and four I absolutely love.

Oof. That would make my mind up quickly then. Hopscotch ain’t going nowhere. Godspeed!

They still do single day tickets right? Can’t make it to the Saturday but might be able to do the other two days (a bit annoyed since Saturday has my favorite top bill).
Some undercard gems: Verity Den, Sluice, WITCH, Winged Wheel, Modern Biology, Gabriel De Rosa, John Roseboro, Sour Widows, Edsel Axle, Dean Johnson, Rubber Band Gun.
Also didn’t realize Kevin Krauter from Hoops started a new band. So need to check out more of Wishy.

I saw Verity Den a couple of months ago when they opened for Rosali on a tour date. They were definitely OK, but didn't blow me away. (I'm surprised that Rosali isn't playing Hopscotch, since she's NC-based.)

If Desert Daze doesn't put out a lineup by mid-June, this will be my Fall fest.
Already booked a flight to RDU. Cursory investigation into downtown Raleigh accommodations suggests I'd be paying at least $600, which pales in comparison to my $250 RT flight.

At least the airfare isn't a sunk cost.
Now we convince LD to come and you guys split a room.

How serendipitous, I happened to DM LD about an hour ago to see if he was thinking of doing Hopscotch.
