Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
We had a group of eight last year, 6 first timers and one who joined me in 2022. I've rubbed off on them and 6 of the 7 are excited for 2024 and can't shut up about it. So it looks like I'm in, even though I've actually considered using my limited time off to do something completely different. Probably early Wednesday again, because Tuesday is tempting but another day could be dangerous.
Indeed lol! We are doing Toosday
The more Roo the merrier, and I wish it could last forever. But do I really want to sleep in a tent and deal with the shower situation and everyone drinking my beer and the expensive food and the sunburn/thunderstorms and be away from my dog for basically a whole week, factoring in the 9-10 hour drive? Kinda. Potentially being within 5 minutes of Centeroo would make it worth it.
If I can get someone to cover me at work for the Tuesday after we'll probably go for it. That's a little iffy, since I basically have to hire a mercenary to get away, and they prefer to work full calendar weeks because that's how everyone else books them. I may have to overpay, but that's alright.
Lineup dependent but most likely yes. Had so much fun last year. Bonnaroo basically has to book a lineup bad enough for me to say "no". Which is totally possible lol.
based on what we know now switched to lineup dependent likely no. still possible the undercard appeals to me enough to go but the two headliners we know don't excite me at all and the current pool of likely third options don't do anything for me either. and the sub-HLs are a bit hazier but besides PL zero of those appeal to me. so even if there are a handful of cool tent acts it's hard to justify the expense and effort needed when there are zero headliners and almost zero sub-HLs i'm interested in.

I hear you. Those second and third lines have a lot of space to pack a punch though and I'm hoping they do for lots of us.
If the lineup is totally, and insanely awesome I might try and see if my wife would let me go fer at least Fri/Sat. But the chances of that happenin’ are so incredibly low!
Changed my answer to lineup dependent but likely yes. Two PL nights makes it almost 80% chance I’m going
Same. If the rest of the lineup is a total disaster I may not attend, but PL x2 is a big draw.
Hotel two nights plus tickets takes a big chunk into the Roo price. Just need a few things to get me there. Plus seeeing PL back on the farm will be sweet af. That was my first edm and PL show. I had no idea what I stumbled upon but I was never the same. So if he really is playing The Which Thursday night it’ll be hard to pass up being there.
Taking back Sunday I suppose too but I still have to listen to them to see if they will click. Might be a perimeter show to see if I like them. But I’d totally go around that pit a couple times if ADTR is on it. It would be cool to get something extra hard like Slayer or Lamb of God (didn’t go that year) with Ministry or some other super hard shit. The horns want to go up by nature so I will hold out some hope.

You and I have a similar background in hardcore punk. I don’t think you’ll like Taking Back Sunday. Or maybe you will, I’m not a fan though. But if they do end up playing Bonnaroo I hope everyone that digs them has fun at their show.
My partner and I are currently trying to decide whether to move from Richmond to a bigger city. If so, shows and festivals are going to have to take a major backseat in order to save some extra dough for the move. If not, I’ll be pushing to make moves to get back to Roo
headliner dooming be damned. Moving my vote to lineup dependent; likely yes. Not moving anymore and it seems like 4 or 5 of my group from this past year are down to send it again. An 8/10 undercard will get me there, I want to be back
Also, I'm in. My gf bought our tickets on first pre-sale day. Looking like it will be 8 in the group this year, 4 of which have never been before. And like John Hammond in Jurassic Park, I insist on being here when they're born.

Went ahead and grabbed my ticket today. Was going to splurge on Moon Colony against my own intuition, but luckily fate saved me from myself and they sold out immediately.
dependent on friends figuring out their summer class situation and resale taking a lil dip but would like to make this the summer i finally get out to the farm
Well, I have a ticket, but it's looking a little iffy now whether I'll make it or not. Haven't been able to find anyone to work for me. The usual suspects are either booked, took other full time jobs, moved away, or are flaky and not answering. Not looking good, since I have no one to train either, which would be expensive but possibly advantageous long-term. This is depressing.

I'm a bread distributor, an incorporated independent affiliated with a national company. It's a surprisingly good gig in many regards but it's damn near impossible to find anyone to fill in right now, and of course the Fortune 500 company whose products I sell doesn't give a F.
More detail, for bored and chronically curious people:
It's good money and has some upside and growth potential if you put the work in and make good decisions. I've increased the value of my business and built some equity pretty rapidly.
The national company has been getting sued left and right though and is scrapping the business model in some states, buying routes back from territory owners, voiding contracts, and replacing route owners with hourly employees. That's because they keep trying to control the independents as if they were employees and institute changes unilaterally when it suites them, without providing any of the benefits or protections that employees rightfully enjoy. It's along the same lines as the fights Uber, Lyft and others have had over what constitutes an employee-employer relationship and what their responsibilities are.
I like the work and don't ever want to go back into the restaurant industry, but I've got business owner headaches without the full control that most business owners have, unfortunately. I could buy a second territory, which would be profitable but not enough so for me to be able to stop running one of the routes daily myself. A third route would make that possible but then I'd need three extremely reliable fulltime employees, which doesn't seem realistic right now. There are people who own two, three or more routes but most of us are one-man shows, which can be precarious.
