Stone Roses self-titled debut is one of my all time favorite albums… Frank was still better. Ian Brown is probably the worst singer to ever headline and he brought down his great band. I’m grateful to have seen them but there was no crowd atmosphere or enthusiasm either especially compared to the incredible Blur set that followed.

I still think it's weird that The Stone Roses headlined Coachella. Although they billed it smart that year and had them share that status with Blur.
To really say they were THE headliner that day... so I don't think it's fair to consider them as potentially the worst headliner they had unless you include Blur that year in your judgment.

Ari's set wasn't great but at least she played a full set and actually performed lol Frank only sang a handful of songs, most of em he just let the tracks play
I'd only argue SHM as being worse in my 6 years of attending. Even though other headliners were late, and headliners with much less interesting music to me. They at least gave more outward effort than Frank did.

I think she’s a talented singer and with the caveat that I’m a big fan of her music, I’ve seen her four times and never find her a particularly compelling live performer, and the most memorable part was Justin Bieber failing to correctly lipsync to his material, which is imo more insulting than Frank performing 2-3 karaoke songs on purpose.
Actually now that I think about it Ariana Grande Orkestral would probably be amazing. Just give her a stool and let her belt.

I wouldn't say she was the worst, but it was definitely disappointing. Honestly while I am not the biggest pop fan, for whatever reason Ariana Grande songs are always bangers to me and I was so excited she was headlining and really pumped for the set. She just has no stage presence whatsoever. Wooden, lip syncing, she just doesn't do anything up there. Low energy and looks like she is just trying to get to the finish line with minimal effort so she can get the check. Our group was really unimpressed.
