I don’t think Boygenius have as much irl demand as they do on the internet either, I walked right up to the front of the stage for their coachella set the second they started
Boygenius is the only day that's sold out in most markets. They are easily the biggest draw on the bill currently.

My friends who are LCD soundsystem fans are funny cause they never play their music, post their music, talk about them in any capacity, relate new music back to them, talk about wanting new music from them but the moment they’re in town for any festival they act like Beychella in that they either go or if I’m going and say I will watch (literally any other act conflicting with them) they look at me like I have 2 heads
that could pretty easily just be a NYC curfew thing
I think it's an earlier start time in NYC to accommodate, though.
Honestly, those are the set lengths I kinda expected, though it would've been nice to have a rotating stage for longer sets. 90 minutes for Boygenius and Steve Lacy is enough to plough through everything, but for LCD, it's like 10 songs.

I know, its really stupid. They easily couldve had Jamie go up until. 20 mins before and give them a short break. Why they dont have everything backlined and set up behind a dj is weird.
