You don’t even need to go that far because I will gladly tell you that just like any other genre, a lot of K-pop is mediocre. But I don’t think NewJeans are even being really appropriative at all considering that Erika de Casier quite notably co-wrote nearly all their latest songs.

its the same situation in thailand and other countries in asia. it will get more attention as other countries continue to improve financially and become more successfully problematic. article starts out by talking about why music is part of the problem but it's also why its getting attention and might slowly change.

Is this really that weird of a take? Watch how they talked to the crowd compared to a Rosalia, Charli, Gaga, Taylor etc talk to a crowd. It felt so juvenile and robotic.
