Dived into Sueco since I'm always looking for an excuse to go to Thalia Hall. He's pretty decent actually should be a really fun show. Might hit that one up. Garden still my #1 must have after show tix for the weekend
Welp, I feel a bit more nervous now having not bought my ticket yet. Lolla pockets can run deep so I could absolutely see resale having a fluke year and staying above retail.
11/19: Caribou 11/22: Ranger Trucco 11/29: Armand Van Helden* 1/16: L'Impératrice 1/30: Jamie xx 2/1: DJ Seinfeld 2/7: Mild Minds* 3/1: Father John Misty* 3/19: Confidence Man 3/23: DARKSIDE 5/8: Rüfüs Du Sol
Anyone have any recommendations for acts from the start of this day up until Fred Again..? I don't really know any of the acts in that time frame, going to check out Tems and Sudan Archives to start and go from there
Edit: not foals or shaq, I'm gonna be lame and try to post up for Fred > Kendrick around 6ish
Been getting into NewJeans and honestly kinda surprised Lolla is their us debut. Its like Kpop for people who like UK Bass. Too late now for them to announce other US shows around it though

The Bad: Because it was only intended as a one-off sort of deal, the selection of bands was pretty limited at the time, with most of the biggest cultural movers like Nirvana and Sonic Youth staying away. In an age where “curated festivals” have become the hot new trend, Lollapalooza in 1991 was the ultimate example, and while many enjoyed the music of Farrell’s Jane’s Addiction, others may have been less enthralled by the likes of Siouxsie and the Banshees, Fishbone, EBN, or Violent Femmes.
First US Siouxsie shows in three years I think that was probably a draw.
