Still gonna wait to see the full undercard until I commit, but now I'm leaning more towards going now that I know I definitely won't do any of BC. Hoping for a good variety of electronic

Osheaga has always had top tier electronic lineups, i’d imagine this year especially so with an electronic headliner

It's really hard to leave their electronic stage.
only multi genre fest in north america besides iii points that books an electronic lineup as good as Coachella imo
really hoping this fest grabs some of the house acts that Coachella missed on like I. Jorden, HAAi, Avalon Emerson, Prospa, etc. totally thought at least one would be there
Seems early but I'll take it! More time to decide on/plan for this. No real must haves on my mind but hoping for Underworld after they were announced for Movement today
Would Fred sub or do you think he's headliner or bust at this point
my guess is they snagged him at 4th or 5th on his day judging by his billing at other north american fests. next year though i dont think hes less than a sub at north american fests
National is a poor sub choice given how far theyve fallen on NA lineups. im worried they blew their budget on the headliners this year
The National are still very popular. For example they are playing 4 nights at a 4,000 capacity venue in Chicago. Not sure why they took such low bookings on some fests this year.
Paramore has got to be the Kendrick sub right? I think it's more likely I try for Portola or something else instead unless the undercard is phenomenal
i dont blame you, yeah i think its paramore or skrill for the kenny sub. this fest is just so easy to access from MA because its an easy drive north so i dont have to deal w flight costs.

Exactly yeah, though I think I still have Sustain Release as my driveable fest for the year if I'm able to get in. I'm kinda just spitballing, idk if I'll be able to swing something I have to fly to (except iii points but I'm increasingly unsure about being able to even step into Florida these days)
Edit: on second thought, I don't think they got Paramore cause they would have definitely announced they were playing before the national. It's Baby Keen I think

they could have some kind of radius clause agreement with Lolla though. Baby keem is more likely the #3 on his day imo because then hed be on the same stage as kendrick
Are we certain these are subs? I love The National but they were pretty lowly attended in 2018 and Osh has only gotten further away from indie and rock music. Wouldn't be surprised if they’re green stage closer like Father John Misty was last time he played.
Also maybe I’m ignorant to her popularity but Aya Nakamura does not seem like a sub. Maybe it’s a rare get since she’s not in NA often?
