Yes. The geography thread, not the geology thread. But while I've never been to Kagoshima, I have been to Yakushima which is about a 45 minute ferry ride away. The volcano has been going off for a little over a week now, but they just raised the alert level to 5 (the highest) telling everyone to evacuate.

Learning some random stuff about Lesotho and holy shit. You can see the border from space because it's a topographical border based on elevation. Almost the whole country is temperate alpine-esque landscape/temperature. Absurd.

There's always some wacky shit going on, usually related to school districts, water rights, property taxes, gerrymandering, etc. It's a fun way to look into the history of your city!

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
look at these maps and see if you can find any correlations between lines, I'm not seeing anything too blatant but I'm also not familiar with the context of the area like you might be

I like maps with multiple overlays, because they're like venn diagrams. Here's one:
Green highlighted areas denote where at least 1% of people care about what happens in New York City. Red shaded areas are where at least 1% of people watch the USFL. Yellow ringed areas are where at least 4% of eligible voters think the American political system is healthy and functional and definitely not tragically broken beyond repair.
