I think Arctic Monkeys are #1 most likely next year. Perfect blend of indie legend and relevant to a younger crowd bc of AM.
I'd also throw out Florence & Gorillaz in that general theme of Arctic Monkeys that could be in play. All would be great gets.
Also, could Shaky be the fest to finally gives Glass Animals the bump to HL status, especially if they go really pricy on a legacy (Metallica, RHCP, GnR, PJ, etc)? They feel like they're right at the brink of the level and Shaky seems like the fest that would be first to pull the trigger.
I just have this feeling given that’s it’s the 10 year anniversary that we will be getting a big name headliner like Metallica or Rage. Also Shaky might try to bank on the pop punk/Emo revival with a band like Paramore or blink. Third act will probably be something on the lines of Arctic Monkeys or Gorillaz
Paramore playing the Tabernacle in November so probably out
Yeah, an underplay totally means their out
Tabernacle definitely seems like a small venue for them and the tour only lasting for a couple months? Probably seeing a full US tour next spring with an album release
I don’t think that show would make them out, but maybe less likely. Jack White is smaller than Paramore and he just did 3 nights there and is now doing Music Midtown 5 months later.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
RHCP should be in play here, no? I know they have that Truist Park date in August but C3 loves them and seems like a direction SK would go. (Not that I'm dying for them, just seems possible.)

I like RHCP more than most here and especially w Frusciante but that would suck ass. Just feels way too expensive. If they’re gonna get their biggest headliner yet I’d rather them go full send on Radiohead or Rage.
One of either Metallica, Rage, Radiohead or RHCP would be huge for Shaky and honestly I would be so happy to get any of them. Hopefully all of them will happen in the near future.

Theyve done underplay tours before an album release and such. Besides, Bamboozle is around that time and Paramore will def play that so SK would be in the cards.

I’d be for any of this but would have RHCP at the bottom of the list. Mainly because I’m seeing them in August. I haven’t seen either Rage or Metallica since 1996 so would be all in on either (or both!) of those.
