if the heupel hype train weren't at full steam right now in knoxville, I'd probably be totally checked out on CFB. been losing interest a bit every year and I no longer have the time or energy to spend an entire saturday watching 4+ hour games. at least I could catch ASU games late on Saturday nights and still have time for chores/kids/hobbies in the afternoon.
In a sensible world - UCF and West Virginia to the ACC so they get 16. The six teams from PAC to Big 12 would then make 16 there.
Four leagues of 16.
the reason why this is happening is because the Big 10 and SEC media deals are about to leave everyone so far in the dust. getting as many teams into those two conferences that are traditionally good at football, i.e USC to Big 10, FSU/Miami/Clemson to SEC is essential to keep these programs alive in the national convo

I was mostly just joking about how both the Texas/Oklahoma and USC/UCLA how the were reported and a couple of hours later their moves were basically finalized

But also:
I don’t know why it would be silly. Maybe silly that they included UNC and Virginia?

The SEC already has a presence in Florida and SC so those two are the less likely ones, imo.
