What's out that's good this week? Pretty light on names I recognize here
The best thing I’ve heard this far is The Range. Just put on Grace Ives (which apparently got a BNM) and Elucid is 1/2 of Armand Hammer that’s not billy woods.

I was coming to ask the same thing. The only things on my list for this week are Shearwater and Vance Joy (the latter of which I'd usually skip but its a light week so why not)

Really light week but plan on checking out the new albums from Winona Oak, Vance Joy, and George Erza. Of course next week when I'm at the farm there's a bunch of stuff coming out that I'll have to catch up on when I get back.

Posting my list for tomorrow for easy access.
• Bartees Strange - Farm To Table • Perfume Genius - Ugly Season • Flasher - Love Is Yours • Sound Of Ceres - Emerald Sea • Joey Bada$$ - 2000 • Anteloper - Pink Dolphins • Foals - Life Is Yours • TV Priest - My Other People • Greg Puciato - Mirrorcell • EXECUTIONER’S MASK - Winterlong • Nick Cave - Seven Psalms • Alanis Morissette - The Storm Before The Calm
I didn’t love the Perfume Genius as much as I thought I would. On the flip, I wasn’t expecting as much from Bartees Strange and loved it.
Other big takeaways: - Anteloper is great. Probably a top 20 this year for me. - TV Priest continues to fucking slay. This new album feels like they’ve been rocking The National a lot.

Perfume Genius album is a big left turn from previous stuff but I think I'm pretty into it. What are some good sound-alike artists/albums if I want more of this type of sound?

TV Priest | My Other People
HM: Angel Olsen - Big Time Anteloper - Pink Dolphins Zola Jesus - ARKHON Bartees Strange - Farm to Table Perfume Genius - Ugly Season Horsegirl - Versions of Modern Performance S. G. Goodman - Teeth Marks Soccer Mommy - Sometimes, Forever The Range - Mercury Vieux Farka Touré - Les Racines
I don't think Goose has the best album this month, but I've probably listened to it more than any other, which has in turn having me rediscover my love for jam bands. I really love this Perfume Genius as well although it took a few tries.
Sessa, one of my more favorite Bandcamp finds from the last few years, was my number 1 for this month, but it's not hitting quite as well as his last album.

Working through last week's releases still, the JB Dunckel (better known as half of AIR) called "Carbon" is a very solid release. Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere really except for possibly on Stereogum's list.
