#1 Orville Peck #2 !!! #3 The Mountain Goats #4 Primus #5 Pissed Jeans
49,421 minutes
I listened for free on mobile for almost the entire year, so this pretty represents what artist radio stations I listened to. I'll be interested to see how things change now that I got premium.
snowmanomura, alawre said she is very sure that Taylor Swift will figure into hers, and it's totally because of her kids.
I listen to XMU while in the car and I am in a tincan butted up to a metal warehouse with a wifi ranking of 70 (80 is the worst I was told). There is no streaming while at work, otherwise the interwebs is complete ass. If it's just me, I can stream but that's not the case 90% of the time.
we still have a month to go in the year, so its closer to 8.77 hours per day. (Unless Spotify goes back to December 2020?)
And obviously that's cool. Not being like "who the fuck listens to that much music?" More like, how does one log that much time on spotify without life getting in the way?
I mean I have less minutes listened than I did last year

my number one song is led zeppelin because the 4 year old just tells google "Play Rock and Roll".
Lemme tell ya, it has not been a long time since the rock and roll.
Overall, I feel like this just took the popular stuff I listen to and spit that out? I listen to a ton of ambient, drone, and jazz that isn't represented here at all.
i listened to a lot of techno and house on spotify this year, but usually via one of the spotify playlists, techno bunker, house supreme, etc. so almost none of those tracks/artists showed up in my top list since the playlists are so varied, but techno and house showed up as genres. well progressive house, which is helped by the fact that i listened to a lot of martin garrix on my runs.
he/they '12 - Firefly '13 - Firefly, Made In America '14 - Firefly, Made In America '15 - Mountain Jam (Sunday), Firefly, Pitchfork, Made In America '16 - Boston Calling, Firefly, Osheaga, Made In America, Roots Picnic NYC '17 - Boston Calling, Gov Ball, Firefly (Sunday), Pitchfork, Day For Night '18 - Boston Calling, Mountain Jam, Osheaga '19 - Form, Firefly (Sunday) '22 - Boston Calling, Firefly
My Wrapped is skewed asf since I switched accounts in mid august and only have streams from september-now, but whatever. I don't think it would make my top artists that much different, the minutes tho would be a loooottt more but ya.

I really appreciate that actually @fortyfive33 now posted about the issue with it copying the wrong playlist in the OP, and people are just ignoring it. 😄

imagine reading what people write
Dealing with people who ignore information they're sent is like half my job.

That makes sense! I usually stick to albums so I guess I listen to a broad range of ambient albums a relatively few number of times.
This kind of stuff always pings the conspiracy portion of my brain. Like, I'm certain that these lists are full of payola but I also highly doubt Matador paid Spotify to scooch Steve Gunn a few places up my playlist.
