Yeah also feel like that’s not very likely based off e previous few lineups but even booking the Killers alone gives me some hope there might be something for an above 21 year old crowd (are The Killers popular with the kids?)
My high school students still love Mr. Brightside
It's the new "Don't Stop Believing" - nostalgia song for weddings and dances that goes over well

I live in Queens so this is the most local festival to me. I am looking for any excuse to spend the weekend there. Really hope there's so decent bands or rappers that rap and not scream in the undercard
I know the Killers will be the same Killers I've seen several times by now, but I'm leaning Saturday if I can get in under face value because even the same Killers show is still a decent time, and there's also Queen Carly. Depends on the rest of the day, too, I suppose.
SZA is a good get, IMO. Haven't seen her on other festival lineups, yet, and she's due a headlining victory lap after her record blew up.
It seems silly but if The Killers are indeed playing then I gotta go on Saturday even though I've pretty much sworn this fest off - been waiting a long time for them to play in Queens so I can say I've seen them in all five boroughs, the only band I can say that about! Since I would only go that day I might have to spring for VIP to make things tolerable.
As an aside, I have seen the XX in all boroughs with the exception of one (and perhaps the most obvious one). Somehow, they have NEVER played in Brooklyn
I haven't attended since Florence which was 2019 but what I really hope for is that they do counter programming for headliners to decrease the crowd size at the headliner stage
There was some overlap last year for Lizzo and Odesza on Friday and Saturday, and Kendrick was unopposed on Sunday. I'm guessing we'll see something counterprogrammed against the Killers, at least. Not sure about Post, and I'd bet money SZA will be completely unopposed.
I do miss the old days when there was always essentially a second headliner playing opposite the main one. My first My Morning Jacket show was their set opposite Drake in 2015 and it was sick.
Lana Del Rey vs The Black Keys in 2015 was a tough choice for me. LDR’s sound was super quiet so a lot of people headed over to TBK

Incredible they never played Brooklyn! You'd think they would have done Prospect Park at some point (Brooklyn Steel was prolly too small for them by the time it opened) . I've only seen them in Manhattan, but remember when they did have a Staten Island show, and the Bronx show was same place and time period I saw The Killers there (during the Paradise Theater experiment). I'm guessing Queens was Forest Hills.
11/28 Raveonettes (Copenhagen, Denmark) 12/4 Interpol 12/14 LCD Soundsystem 12/31 Billy Joel 1/25 The Killers (Las Vegas) 2/12 Jack White 2/25 Father John Misty 3/6 Inhaler 4/10 Franz Ferdinand 4/17 Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds 5/15 Amyl & the Sniffers 5/18 Fontaines D.C. 9/1 Oasis
11/19: Caribou 11/22: Ranger Trucco 11/29: Armand Van Helden* 1/16: L'Impératrice 1/30: Jamie xx 2/1: DJ Seinfeld 2/7: Mild Minds* 3/1: Father John Misty* 3/19: Confidence Man 3/23: DARKSIDE 5/8: Rüfüs Du Sol
this feels like a fest that when the schedule drops the 2 paths available will make this more palatable for people than they would want to admit on this forum
also just realized there is, like, zero electronic music on this lineup? After booking ODESZA as a headliner last year too, I wonder why!
Saturday was so undersold last year that they let Friday single-day pass holders come back for free. Might be they're taking that as a sign that the hunger for electronic stuff isn't there with their audience.

There are actually some decent rock names on this list - Blondshell and Hotline TNT were decent surprises. Goth Babe was fun when I saw him from afar at Bonnaroo '22. Seeing Geese on there is a trip.
I agree that Sunday is the best day overall, but I'm more into the Killers than SZA. I dunno. Going to have to see how this shapes up as to whether I can get a ticket cheap enough to make making an appearance worthwhile.

GovBall says that a two day option will exist but it's not on the Citi website.
A heads-up that it looks like VIP is all ages admitted this year. Someone on reddit reached out for confirmation on that, and got it confirmed. If you want an only-21-plus experience, you're going to have to shell out for "Ultimate."

At $6500/$2500, I think I will have to pass on the child-free experience, lol.

Not that I'm shelling out for that but what is the difference between VIP and "Ultimate"? Artist lounge backstage?

Yes w those poor sales I also had a glimmer of hope they’d try to bring this feat back to a well rounded lineup but alas!
Getting a lot of ads from Governors Ball in Spanish on my Facebook feed (more than English, even) so they are really courting the Latino market this year.
