My daughter used to get really upset when I'd order her a cheeseburger with her Happy Meal. She said that she wanted a hamburger with cheese, dammit. (FTR, the dammit was just heavily implied.)

That's me. I usually prefer a cheeseless burger. Burgers are already so fatty with just the hamburger meat and mayo, just enough to perfectly compliment the onions and pickles.
Cheeseburgers do smack but I don't think I've ever had one at Bonnaroo
You missed out when they had the Big Kahuna burger and the Double Royale with cheese. You could only order them “crispy” or “bloody as hell”. I went crispy and my two mates went bloody as hell. Sadly they both ended up with urgent porto issues later that day (this was preflushables in centeroo).

I’m with you. I love cheese but a good burger doesn’t need anything except salt pickle and onion.
