It is amazing that now the locals gotta fight with the tourists about what will happen in our city. Cant wait til ya'll just get stuck going everywhere though cause you think a a mile on the map means youll get there in 5 mins.
And splitting it between the Coliseum and Sofi is like splitting the 2 days of Wrestlemania with no idea which day has the better undercard.
They couldve sold a lot of problems by just using BMO for some extra stuff since its right across from The Coliseum. But I guess the IOC wants to show how inconvenient the city is by showcasing things that are 15 miles apart for no reason.

A lot can change in 4 years. That’s why I’m not putting a lot of stock in it right now and just focusing on what area to stay that two 14 year old boys like and easy to get to a few venues. We broke down and made a timeline of the next few years to help us plan:
3 years out: * Apply for rewards credit cards with bonuses to build airline miles. * Research event destination. Pinpoint ideal areas to stay.
2 years out: * Sign up for email notifications and ticket lottery (if being held) * Determine the best dates for us to attend * Set a budget for the trip and begin saving.
18 months out: * Buy event tickets. (If on sale)
12 months out: * Book and pay for lodging. * Decide which destinations to add (bet your sweet ass I’m going to Disney).
330 days out: * Buy plane tickets.
3 months to 1 week out: * Buy travel insurance if you have not done so already. * Understand local transportation options. * Make restaurant reservations. * Schedule bookings for tours. * Buy your country team gear to bring with you and wear to the Games. * Update budget.
We’ve got the CC taken care of and I’ve been squirreling away miles for a bit now.
Places I’ve narrowed down to is Santa Monica and Burkank but again, a lot will change between now and then.

Is this where we post Olympic tour dates or should I put it in the upcoming shows thread?

Huge advantage of having the Paralympics on TV at work all the time is that you see all the sports they won’t show on TV that go crazy hard. Foot archery? Wheelchair rugby? 61-year-olds still competing in the 100m wheelchair race sprint? You better believe it’s all on the USA network.

ryan medrano, who played on survivor 43, just got his second silver medal (100m and 400m)! he has two more events this week, and his survivor castmate noelle lambert has two as well.
