Michigan Bama Cincinnati Baylor
All conference champions. Baylor has two losses but avenged one and had better wins than UGA. If you want a one loss team, sub Notre Dame in there. Better SoS than UGA and only loss to Cincinnati. I also think it would be hilarious to see the Irish make it after Kelly bailed.
It has always seemed a little weird to me that a team could win the NC without winning their conference.
Iowa sucks so bad. Most overrated team in college football this year.
Theyre about as good as any Iowa team ever and Iowa is literally always a team that usually plays their games close with a stout defense and old school offense. This year in particular their defense was stout as fuck and they had an insanely good punter and so that was their gameplan.
But yeah of course a team that centers around their punter isn't a great contender. But to say that putting up 42 on a team that hadn't even allowed 30 this season in a conference title isn't impressive then idk what is

I think if Baylor had continued stomping Oklahoma state then they'd have a case. But I think the fact the game ended up being closer makes the committee keeps UGA in. Notre Dame doesn't deserve to be in just because they didn't play yesterday

Yep I'm an MSU fan! I think some people were disappointed because they wanted to play Notre Dame in The Fiesta Bowl, but going into the year no one thought a NY6 bowl was a realistic possibility, so the Peach Bowl works for me!
