Side battle. We have those from time to time, either for not having enough judges or players not being around at the same time to do matchups.

I just finished the bracket for the next rd. What I did was I took the bottom 16 (chosen based on the acts that have the least material). Those 16 will face off to get into the 32 act field.

The question is who from the top 24 doesn't deserve to be there? More than it is about why yours is in the bottom 16. I have Little Dragon, who has 5 albums, but I put them in the bottom 16.

Here's a proposal for seeding. We'll have to do a little research project here, but... shortest discogs go in the play-in round. Winners get into the round of 32, and we'll seed the rest then.
The play-in winners may not necessarily be 7-8 slots, but most should be.

I like this idea as long as the ones that win the play-in round get to reuse their songs in the next round. If not it would just be an extra punishment for artist with shorter discographies
