Good morning all! We're looking to head to the farm on Friday and honestly have no interest in the other days. We live in Murfreesboro so are in that black hole center where the 1 day pass + shuttle doesn't make a lot of sense but buying a 4 day pass + parking doesn't make a lot of sense either if we're only going one day.
So, I'm trying to see if anyone knows if this will work.
Getting to the festival: Purchase a 1-day VIP + Shuttle option Figure out how to get downtown. We might uber there. Ride the shuttle to the festival. Enjoy ourselves until we're ready to go and then...
How do we get back? 1) Ride the shuttle back to Nashville, which involves passing by our house and then driving an additional 35 minutes. And then figuring out how to get back to Murfreesboro. 2) Find some other way from the farm back to Murfreesboro. Are Uber/Lyft reasonable options? Any other ideas?
Alternatively...
We buy some type of 4-day tickets and drive ourselves, maybe even go crazy and decide to come back on Saturday. I can't find clear instructions on parking for the day and leaving as everything seems to reference camping. It is actually OK for locals to go in/out correct? --- SOLVED, just found the answer to day parking in the FAQ.

Thanks all!
looks like you figured it out. i'm a long-time day parker, just keep in mind wait times to get into day parking can vary. you might get in super quick, but if you are trying to make a particular act give yourself at least an hour to sit in traffic, plus time to walk/get into centeroo.
also thursday will have noticeably worse traffic since you'll have a lot of people arriving at the same time for regular camping.
i'm sure i don't have to tell you this, but if you choose to day park make sure one of you stays sober to drive. don't need anybody dying or going to jail. additionally even being sober make sure you save enough energy for the drive back. i've done that 3:30am drive back to murfreesboro many times and it can be tough.
