Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Im sorry i dont recall who was doing it to @ them but any chance the person on here who was doing coachella sets on twitch (or anyone else for that matter) might be planning something similar for bonnaroo next weekend?
I'm installing Kast now so may try to run a stream on and off over the next week or so. I have some videos from shows I attended 2006-2015. If it works out and doesn't conflict with anyone else's plans I will share intentions more completely.
Update: All seems pretty straight forward. I might do a test stream tonight with something special. If you are interested to join in PM your Kast screen name because I want to keep the whole thing fairly under control for inforoo members only in case it gets out on the wider webs.
Think this link should be good even day to day when I go offline/return again.
Believe I will shoot for 8:00 pm EST (7:00 CST) tonight for the test stream
I posted this in the webcasts thread but figured it would be useful here as well. Going forward I will likely stick to the webcast one for posting updates. I think I have around 40 sets spread over 10 days. It won't be 4 a day as 20 of them are for next Friday, Saturday & Sunday. I used the original dates of the performances to schedule them so every one will be "anniversaries" for those particular performances. Hope it goes smoothly and to see some of you on there.
Shocked there hasn't been some announcement of a stream or something for this weekend.
Tuesdays seem to be day most announcements come out but if you read a couple posts up im aiming to do a 10 day stream with shows i saw during my 2006-2015 attendance run. Tonight Im doing foster the people and radiohead from 2012 starting at 8 pm est.
Edit: Remember to send me a PM if you request access into the Kast group so I know who your are please.
Not for nothing but I think every festival needs a year off every once and a while. (if they can afford it and survive) Similar to Glasto.
This allows for plenty of time to plan new attractions, rejuvenate the grounds and book a stellar lineup. If fests are allowed to occur next year just think of how much fun they will be. The energy will be like your first fest experience.

i think i do a decent job of being present and appreciating a festival when i'm at it, but whenever i can go to another one i'll for sure be even more appreciative and grateful.
Pod 1 doesn't sound that bad anymore, although I would be in RV right now with A/C planning my Thursday of music. Still hard to believe that Roo isn't going to do anything special this weekend.

Agreed, it’s going to be some top notch energy all around, fans and artist both. I’d have to imagine fests will be in even more demand then they already were. I expect Roo 2021 to probably sell out even faster than than 2020, especially considering we expect a good amount of fests to not recover from this, and they will probably try and keep as many acts from this year as they can and some beefy 2021 additions. I also expect ticket prices to be decently more expensive

I agree all that is possible. For the festivals that can hang in through covid-19 there will be lots of opportunity on the other side.
I'm rolling my movement and Phish tickets forward, I didn't have a Bonnaroo ticket yet this year but I will likely buy blind presale which I haven't done in a while.
Of all things it's these pictures of Bonnaroo traffic people have been posting that have been making me crazy. I can smell and feel those pictures vividly. The anticipation and slight nervousness that it's about to be Bonnaroo again.

I know in the grand scheme of things it's so minuscule, but MAN work feels 100x longer knowing where we all should be rn. I never requested my refund so I'm just letting my ticket roll over, presuming the fall dates get cancelled. Hopefully that helps avoid any kind of potential price increase whenever Bonnaroo happens again. At this point I'm just hoping it's next June and not next September, but based on Coachella's statement I think we might be waiting another year and a half on our next Roo :/

I personally wonder if my current level of germaphobeness will ever go away. I hope so but I think im gonna be living with this for a long time and a festival is germ-heaven

I think it will be a quick turnaround. Maybe weird for a few days max for me at least.

We’re planning summer “micro-camps” for kids right now and I suggested a sensory tent. My coworkers paused, looked at me, and said, “Man... you’re really missing bonnaroo, huh?”

This is how I feel as well. I don't go anywhere really, except Joann's and I'm super sketchy if there's too many people. Plus, people's bad behavior is on full blast and it's too much.
People are so self-centered, self-involved and have no empathy or compassion. I wish that covid-19 took those things into consideration when infecting us.
