Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
The audio of him telling the girl not to do it with other guys because she's not experienced enough to navigate relationships reminded me of Harvey Keitel talking to Jodie Foster in Taxi Driver.
So uh, how's everybody doing? Anyone hear about the concert where the above picture was taken in Tennessee? Naughty list for all of them. I'll probably be on here a bit more cause I'm Q'd up due to contact with someone who was with someone who popped positive. Got a test last Thursday but they're a bit backed up so I'm just waiting. No symptoms so that's good, but I went from knowing no one to four people last week. Also, I started a radio show where we travel to a different city or state or "time" each week and we've been having fun with it. What I need help with is electronic music. I dig things like Polo & Pan, Daily Bread, Michael Menart, Aphex, Cut Copy, Hot Chip, LCD, Daft Punk and the like, but I'm not super hip to a lot of it so I'd appreciate some help. I'm going to start a new thread for it, I guess. I'm not sure what to call it though. Smooth Electronic Acts? Non-womp electronic? I dunno.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I mean if we are opening it to any main stage DJ, Carl Cox. But with the sellout this year it's hard to imagine Roo taking a risk on non-bass music, especially in a 2021 economy. They'll really want to bet on what they see as a sure thing.
What about Porter, Disclosure, A&B?
I know their not bass but I feel like big name acts like that even tho not bass will bring in equal amount of fans. Especially if they keep some bass on there.
i agree Porter and Disclosure would be good safe replacements and would put asses in figurative seats. I'd be down for Disclosure for sure since I've never seen them. I know people love Porter, he's not really for me but clearly people love him.
A&B is the wildcard, probably the most frequently requested act that is right on the edge of what bonnaroo seems comfortable booking electronic music-wise. I personally think they would be great at roo.
i know bonnaroo doesn't care what inforoo thinks, but over the past year or so over on r/bonnaroo there have been more and more calls for bonnaroo to diversify their electronic music. from a business perspective i understand why bonnaroo went full wook-bass, the other stage is always packed and it provides bonnaroo with an EDM brand people can understand. but i do hope they take some chances on at least a few interesting bookings. Where in the Woods could be a really cool thing if you pack it with midwestern US acid DJs. even if people don't know who the hell Mike Servito is I promise you they'd be thrilled with what they are hearing if they stumbled upon him at 3am.

I would love for Disclosure to replace bassnectar but with them booked for a few festivals already over seas in June idk the likelyhood. Porter would be great!

I'm tardy to the discussion but I'm super happy that Bassnectar won't be returning. No matter who he is replaced with, it will be a decided improvement. Have never really been a fan and a lot of the crowd he brings to Bonnaroo are awful.
As excited as I was/am for Lana, even I would gladly give her up for Lady freaking Gaga. I would also trade any headliner for her, even though I'm excited for Lizzo and Tame. I'm not even gonna think about that too much though because I don't want to set myself up for disappointment haha.
i ended up ordering from ATO Records site. $5 flat rate shipping. so i picked up a couple of king gizzard records too.
It is only costing me $10.18 to ship? I added an overpriced tank top though. Maybe they're using it to cushion the vinyl.
I had initially added another vinyl, I think that's why. I just tried again, and added just the pre-order for waterfalls 2 and I got a media mail option and the $10.18 option...so I guess if you get multiple records you can't get the media mail and regular shipping doubles

What's some shit you hate about Bonnaroo but kind of miss right now due to the current dismal state of affairs?
I'd let a whole train of chain-linked frat boys on Molly with camel pack vodka breath push by me looking for their phones or lost friends to get up front right now, if it meant I could safely watch a show.
Edit: Fuck it. I wouldn't even shame them for talking the entire time. Somebody give me this vaccine already.
