There's an EP out today by Dua Saleh that's pretty decent. Would recommend to Twigs fans, though there's a bit more hip-hop influence.

So was set to crown Khruangbin as this month's AOTM...
And then came along, outta nowhere, Sault's upcoming "Untitled," album...I can't put into words how amazing this album is...In it's message, themes, sounds, grooves, and so forth.
In Sault's words - "We present our first ‘Untitled’ album to mark a moment in time where we as Black People, and of Black Origin are fighting for our lives. RIP George Floyd and all those who have suffered from police brutality and systemic racism. Change is happening…We are focused. Sault x"
Just confirmed that the album will be dropping next week...Already a strong contender of AOTY for me.
I was just coming in to echo the previous two posts. Dylan and Mondo Cozmo have very enjoyable albums. Maybe a weak track or two on each but otherwise AotM consideration worthy.
Josh of Mondo Cozmo has been covering Don’t Think Twice it’s Alright lately. That album is the Freewheelin Bob Dylan. Mondo New Medicine album cover artwork looks like a replica of that old album cover. Minus Suze Rotolo.

First thing I thought about when I saw that Mondo Cozmo album cover was that old Dylan album.
Still have to listen to the new Dylan but looking forward to it. Also the new Neil Young, and Phoebe Bridgers.
I think my frontrunner for the month is Special Interest - they do the electro/punk thing very well and I don't want to say it's The Music For Our Time or anything but it's definitely reflective of a lot of what I've been feeling lately!

I remember putting SAULT's album 5 in my top 20 list for 2019. Discovered them through Bandcamp radio. Happy their new album is getting consideration here.
Not that this would ever win AotM but GOD DAMN if the new Mantar record isn't fun. It's nice to know I wasn't the only one growing up on Sub Pop and like mindedness the 90's.
