Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I'd propose that one festival can only entry like 4x times (4, because of the brackets) or something, that's 2,5% which is a lot but otherwise you might aswell add every Coachella, Glastonbury, Roskilde and Primavera Sound there is and it's gonna look dumb when in a certain round, one festival is gonna go against one from a different year.
fine with that. i definitely felt like i went over board on outside lands.

If we want to make this interesting we should do no Bonnaroo and No Coachella. Otherwise let’s just crown Roo 14 the champion and save ourselves the trouble.

I don't think a Kanye fest would win this in 2021. Especially when primavera sound 2016 exists.

I was thinking of doing a Coachella survivor but I could run this. I've got a good idea for nominations that I was gonna use for AOTY 2021 when that comes around that could be used here. It'll help diminish some of the complaints about certain lineups not being in while others are.

when i was doing it, it was sort of overwhelming the number of festivals there are, that are good, and how many of the same fests have multiple good lineups, how much crossover there is year to year. but it sort of felt like it defeated the purpose to limit something like coachella to just 3 or 4, or to take out international fests, or the big US 4. like if the final four of a huge 64 bracket is 4 coachellas, that's probably because they're close to being the best consistently booked fest of the decade.
1 seeds are whatever won the best Bonnaroo draft (13/14, can’t remember), Coachella 13, Prima 16
fyf gets a lot of love and is very all killer no filler.
some excellent glastos
I do not envy whoever takes this off my hands. it's hard to look at like 5 Melt! lineups thinking I'd see most everyone on these lists and then try to talk yourself out of the idea that there should be more Melt!s on the list than lollas because its probably a me(you) thing.
If Beyonce actually would have done her Homecoming show in 2017 that would probably be the winner for me.
The original 2017 lineup is what got me out to Indio for the first time. That top three, plus Justice, The XX, Bon Iver... Just too damn good to pass up. I'm bummed I didn't get to see Beyonce but the thrill of closing out my first Coachella with seeing Justice live for the first time almost made up for it.
I think Coachella's 2011 lineup has to be in contention too. Too bad this was before I started going to festivals.
Edit: Except the colossal fuck up of Kings of Leon being the Friday headliner. Every other part of that line up is amazing.
2010 is very underrated and stacked if you look at it again. Deadmau5 cube debut, Major Lazer first show, Them Crooked Vultures, the beginning of the end for LCD, Gil Scott Heron went on after The Dillinger Escape Plan. 20,000 extra people sneaking in. And even with the volcano cancellations it was still good.

Julie had the idea of dividing the bracket into regions (East, West, Europe, Other) to try to cut down on the amount of coachella nominations, etc.? Was wondering if you guys thought it was a good idea or not.
I will say I'm worried about the idea of an "Other" side and it not being able to stack up to East, West or Europe
