So there's obviously Jessie Reyez confirmed as an addition and rumors of DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, 21 Savage, and Lil Uzi.
Who else do we think might be added?
Some "friends of Pharrell" are probably a gimme. Timberlake and Gwen might work, and Pharrell's been recording with a bunch of artists, so that set is really wide open.
There will definitely be Sunday Service artists added and probably some local acts.
Rae Sremmurd would be fun. Plus Swae could guest on Post Malone's set.
I'm hoping for Blood Orange and Tei Shi though I know that's probably a reach. I'm also keeping my fingers crossed for Earl Sweatshirt and some more Latin pop like Bad Bunny.

If we are looking at potential names, I think a good amount of them will come from the Coachella lineup. Word around town is that the “Friends” list is “insane”, so we’ll see what entails.

Really hoping for Doja Cat, Denzel, Uzi, and Brockhampton would be cool. Some more rock bands for the Foo Fighters day would be a good addition. Hoping the names come Monday or Tuesday.
"Pharrell Williams’ production company announced Tuesday that 20 additional personalities and conference speakers are set to be added to the 2020 festival. Robby Wells, who presented the SITW 2020 outlook Tuesday, initially said there would be 20 new artists added, but he later said that he misspoke."
Given that we already know for a fact more artists are being added, I wonder why the backtracking.

I feel like they don’t have enough artists right now to cover 3 stages for 3 days for a festival that is supposedly going to run from noon to midnight every day.

Because I doubt 20 artists are being added. I only expect a handful. I don’t even know I trust the early DaBaby/Meg stuff with broccoli city
The DaBaby/Meg stuff came from a guy who is well connected with Pharrell and the festival. It is certainly possible that one of them on that list dropped. The 2nd drop hasn’t come yet because of Coachella. Jessie Reyez is a perfect example of that.

Why do they have to wait for Coachella exactly?
Biggest thing is “Artists can't announce festival appearances for the other 45 states in North America until after the Coachella lineup is announced in January, with exceptions made for Austin's South by Southwest, Ultra Miami and the AEG-backed New Orleans Jazzfest.”
Obviously, things change and there are exceptions. However, I believe this part of the cause is still intact. That’s why I’m expecting most of the artists to be added are from the Coachella lineup.

Map and more info released. Also worth noting a local reporter said more names are "coming soon" and a local artist who performed last year confirmed himself. So maybe today or tomorrow?

I tuned into the community meeting they had tonight. I don't remember all the relevant takeaways, but a few that stuck out:
3rd stage will be used mostly for the non-music shows/pop up church
They aren't aware when the secondary lineup will be out
Seems like they have a really promising plan to combat traffic issues
Re-entering the fest is allowed
There will be will call, pre-check in, etc at the park n ride locations. Should make lines and getting in go much more smoothly
Pretty basic answer re: Coronavirus. They're monitoring it and have plans in place
Trollies free all weekend
I'll edit this post with anything else I remember. Overall the amount of time and love they're putting into the planning of this has made me gain so much respect. It's corny to say, but I'm so proud of my city & this team, and I really hope this is allowed to happen, for their sake as well.

I want this lineup drop already. I don’t want to sound desperate, but I wanna find out if those addition rumors are true or not. I’m leaning towards yes, but a confirmation would be nice lol. Maybe we get it tomorrow?
I found it interesting that the 2nd stage isn’t going to be smaller. It sounds like they will be flipping back in forth while the other is setting up.
This festival sounds like it is here to stay. I expected it to last maybe a year or two, but they want to do it for years to come, which is great.

I feel you though. Specifically whether or not Uzi is going to be there. Would be cool knowing we're getting one of the first few performances of the new album.
They also said something about scheduling being released mid-March, but it's possible they meant specifically the different exhibits happening throughout the week, not the music as well.
Also worth noting they listed who to them are the 12 headliners: 6lack, A$AP, Chance, Foo, H.E.R., Major, Migos, Nelly, Pharrell, Post, Tyler, Usher. Weird Clipse wasn't one. Think that's been one of the biggest selling points.

Only reason why someone like Nelly or 6lack would be considered a headliner over Clipse is maybe Clipse only has a 30 min set. Malice hasn’t performed in a minute.

City officials said they're weary to cancel, because most of the people are going to be in town anyway for beach week, and will just be left with no organized activities.

A big reason why SITW was created was to eliminate the troubles with beach week. If SITW is cancelled, people won’t feel obligated to act nice and crime will go up.

I don’t know when they could postpone it to. The summer just seems too hectic. All I would like to know is the new dates ahead of time before it’s officially announced so I can book a cheap room lol.

"Postponed" until 2021. RIP to that amazing lineup.
Damn, they had no other choice. It sucks that Migos got screwed for a 2nd year in a row. Here’s hoping that I’ll be able to get a good deal on a hotel when I’m able to book in a couple of weeks.
