Got the email as I was reading the post above. You had to figure that rescheduling was going to be very unlikely. It would be silly for anyone to commit to anything that isn't at least several months out, at this point.
I'm bummed, and assuming that NMF, Bonnaroo, and other events in May and early June are iffy now. At least the Melted folks are good people (we knew that) and will be giving refunds, unlike with Ultra.

I wonder if NMF will even bother announcing any more bands.
I halfway expect them to go radio silent until it becomes clear if the fest is going to happen, then just drop a full lineup poster. I feel like this fest is heavily dependent on whether Roo and Gov Ball happen, if either cancel then NMF is toast

I agree with all of that. It makes sense to do nothing right now, except maybe release a statement about monitoring the situation, like so many businesses and organizations are doing. Even if NMF goes on when scheduled, surely a few bands will back out due to the greater disruption to their lives. And other who haven't yet committed are pretty unlikely to make any plans right now.
So yeah, maybe a full and final lineup drop sometime in April, assuming other festivals don't cancel/postpone and force everyone to re-do their whole touring schedules. But who knows.

Anyone get a Melted refund yet? I got the email and opted to donate a portion of mine back to them, a week ago I think. Not concerned, and not unemployed (yet), just wondering.
Airbnb refunded my $50 cleaning fee when I cancelled. The reservation was supposed to nonrefundable otherwise, but yesterday they approved my request for the remainder under their special coronavirus policy, which is nice. Hadn't pulled the trigger on NMF yet. And I'm glad I decided to wait for third party prices to drop for Bonnaroo, because who knows what would have happened with that.
I'd give them another week. I'm sure they're really struggling with NMF, Melted & Stuart's.
Yes, also through EVentBrite. I emailed Melted, they replied really fast and said they thought it would be 3-5 business days initially but it turned out to be more like 7 for some. I was already at 10 business days so they said they'd look into it with EventBrite. I'm sure Amex would help me but I can afford to be patient and let this work itself out. Just wondering if anyone else got it.
